Catcus Rose Restaurant & Tequilla Bar In Wilton...Oh Amazing!

One day when I was at my parent's house my Dad asked me to look up a restaurant he saw on an Ad on Channel 12 News. Pictures looked amazing but first time I ever heard of them. So tonight he took my mom and my sister and me to test it out. First of all the menu is amazing. Such a variety of things to choose from. I of course start off by ordering my favorite: Blood Orange Margarita. Delicious, strong, sweet, totally gave me a buzz from having just one. I know one!

We ordered a ton of apps because we couldn't decide what to get and well we didn't want to miss out on anything because there was so much to choose from. We ordered grilled octopus- delicious, beef empanadas- almost like a stew meat inside, very comforting, shrimp dish which was amazing and chorizo flat bread- chorizo was extremely tasty and I could have picked on it all night. Finally a crispy calamari salad with a miso dressing- I am in love with this dressing. The last time I had a crispy calamari salad this good was in the Hamptons. Needless to say I was super happy with it

Main dishes were delicious too...salmon,steak, burger with a side of truffle fries and lobster enchiladas- this was by far one of my favorite entrees! Chunks of lobster. Fresh peppers. Creamy sauce over them  so good!

Dessert- I know can you believe we actually had room for it-they had a quattro leche cake- normally you see tres leche on the menu. Creamy, delicious but by now we are stuffed. Then they bring you cotton candy with the check. Loved it! So fun last time we had that was at a restaurant in Sono and always a fun way to end your night. The owner was super sweet. Our waitress was so much fun. They have happy hour prices, a $15 pre fix lunch option, great kid menu-very family friendly atmosphere.  We walked out feeling like we were family. I know we will be back. Be sure to check them out http://cactusrosewilton.com/
