What if you don’t just focus on the romantic aspects of love. What if the love your child gives you or a family member or a friend gives you outshines any love you had.
What if people come into your life and show you true happiness. With no expectations. Just love me and I love you. We make eachother feel good. We appreciate eachother. We look out for one another and enjoy our best life together.
I will tell you for so long I felt men I dated had to fulfill love in my life. When really I wasn’t getting what I gave. No one came out and said hey J I missed you so much my heart hurts. Yet mine did.
Now I look and see the love my kids give me and parents and sisters and family and friends and my god it makes me say all this time I was looking for love in the wrong places.
You love someone tell them. I was tired of telling people who couldn’t understand or appreciate my love. Meanwhile I am filled with love all around and was too sad to notice.
