Zul Cafe and Grill in Norwalk Authentic Filipino Food

I drove past this restaurant a couple of times and realized I never had Filipino food. I have had Thai, Korean, Asian, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese etc... but never Authentic Filipino Food. So of course I had to try it. Note they are closed on Mondays and close at 7:00 pm most nights.

I didn't know what to order. Whenever I am not sure what to order I look for their Instagram account and see their food picture posts. We ended up ordering their Beef Mami- which is like a noodle stew. Light colored broth. It had vegetables and noodles and thinly slices of beef.  It wasn't too strong of a flavor. Mild and light. We also got the chicken inasal. This is sliced bbq chicken. It was really good. It came with a brown rice and cucumbers and a light clear broth and then spring rolls. The spring rolls had some meat but mostly vegetables.

I was happy to try it. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and prices are really good. https://zulcafeandgrill.com/
