It’s Not What Happens To You It’s How You Handle It

The best part about being my age is this...you don’t need anyone for a particular reason. The people who are in your life it’s because you want them to be. You already have kids and had a house and had the wedding and had all the things that you thought you wanted and needed. Once you go through all that you become selective. If it works out great. If not on to the next. Why?

Because you become strong and happy being alone. You don’t depend on others. You do what you have to do. If you choose to remarry or stay single. So be it. If you choose to buy a home or rent a space or save for what you really want or move in with someone or playhouse with another person. So be it.

It’s really a great way to live. You know you’re strong enough alone that you just make decisions carefully now with whom you choose to spend your time with. It has to have substance. It has to enrich your life and soul and mind. If it doesn’t don’t waste your time.

We all have been through so much. Now it’s only good times ahead. You can tackle anything. You can get through anything in life when you start to trust and believe in yourself.
