Apple Picking At Blue Jays in Bethel CT
I love Apple picking. I love getting cider and cider donuts (which Blue Jays market has the best ever tried) and seeing the kids walk through the orchards. I love seeing their little hands pick apples and call for me when they find a good one.
They had five different type of apples to choose from. I suggested we don’t taste them due to Covid so we got a variety. When we got home I did a white vinegar rinse on them to be safe and we have been enjoying them all week.
I bought the girls red plaid shirts. They joked I made them look like female lumberjacks. I said I didn’t care. One day they won’t be around to do this with me and something will remind them of Apple picking and they will miss it and say remember when mom made us look like female lumberjacks.
That’s what it’s about. Memories. Laughs. Cracking jokes but deep down appreciating the experience.
Cherish the moments you have. The now. Everything always ends up changing. Embrace the moments when you can.
Take The Risk...
Put yourself out there. Apply for the new job. Open your heart in your relationship. Risk it. Why? Because what if it’s the best thing to ever happen to you? What could possibly go wrong? You fail and start again...doesn’t matter. Take that chance.
