I Voted 2020
No one teaches you how to vote and they should show you the first time. I said that to my boyfriend this morning. He looked at me confused. I admittedly said I did it wrong once. I was so nervous that I did it wrong. How is that possible he asked? Now he’s extremely intelligent and holds a very high position in his career so you would think I would be embarrassed but I wasn’t.
I literally voted wrong before.
It’s true. I did. I once selected multiple people for one position. Not the President that’s obvious but I was so nervous I went on a circling rampage.
I know it’s so silly but who showed you how to vote? Yes I know read the directions but I was young and nervous. I always remember that day when I go vote now. My parents never brought us to the polls even though they voted and when I started to vote I was already in college not living home so I didn’t have guidance. Lesson to be sure to have your kids become aware of what to do.
Did you vote? Why did you vote? Why did you pick who you chose?
This time I actually voted for one main reason. Because I believed one was better than the other. Not because of my peers or family or friends. Because I stood behind my vote. I wasn’t influenced by anyone at all. It was my decision. Most of the time we vote based on the opinions of people around us. Yes you say it always is but most of the time we are influenced by our peers and family and companions. That’s not why you vote for someone. You vote for someone because you believe they should be president over their opponent.
I hope you go vote. It’s you way of having a say! I hope you chose the one you truly have faith in to lead our country.
