Hiking Near Rocky Mountain For Work

We took a break from our team meeting to hike. CT is 43 ft above sea level. We hiked up a mountain that was 8,800 ft above sea level.

It was insane.

I had to stop a couple of times. Walking and talking up a mountain. Wasn’t easy. I wasn’t wearing the right shoes. I was out of breathe. It was crazy.

I look down and you see granite in the mountains.

Just forming everywhere. We reach the top of a resting spot. The view is gorgeous. Just like everywhere else. We have some hot cider and take a break.

I opted to go back with another coworker instead of climbing up higher but will prepare for next time so I can walk faster than my leader- my client.
