Best Natural Remedies To Feel Good

What are you giving your body?

I love that Sunshine is #1. We all need sunshine in our life. Natural sunshine and people who brighten our day.

I started having the kids play outside after school for almost 1 hour when the weather is good. The sunshine totally puts us in a better mood. Relaxes us. The warmth, the way everything comes to life when the sun is beaming down. Oh the little joys in life make the biggest impact. The smallest gestures, the most effortless things usually make the biggest impact. We all need more sunshine.

Tabouli Grill Stamford

I have been wanting to try this place for so long. Finally got the chance to and it was delicious. I had the intentions of ordering a Chicken Shawarma pita but when I walked in the waitress was bringing this pita out and I had to get it. It’s their Chicken Garlic pita. So refreshing. I loved the salad inside. The tahini sauce and chicken combo was delicious.

I love Mediterranean food. This is definitely my new spot to go to. Their hummus looked amazing. I ordered food to go so didn’t order a lot but I can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes on their menu.

Match In Sono

I met a friend here for drinks and dinner. After a weekend of activities it was nice to sit down for a quiet meal and conversation. We started with cocktails and their margarita was delicious.

Their garden salad came with a potatoe latke topped with goat cheese. This was absolutely delicious. Refreshing, filling and savory.

We then got a margarita pizza and the bacon with mash potatoes and eggs pizza. It tasted like a breakfast pizza.

Lastly dessert... we split the goey chocolate chip cookie dessert. It came with warm chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter ice cream and bananas on the side.

Never a bad meal when I come here. It’s also nice to know they do change up the menu so it’s always great to try new dishes.

Memorial Day

Today is about remembering and honoring people who have died while serving in the US Armed Forces. For showing our respect to their family, friends and crew who never got to see them again. For them losing their life to protect ours.

Thank you! 🇺🇸

You’re Happy I Am Happy

“The best relationships are built on a foundation of two people who were already happy before they met.” James Sama

This is very important. To be an addition in someone’s life not a source of happiness. Not entering a relationship where someone needs fixing. Where you are already two happy individuals who just want to be happier together. Hard to admit but it’s true.

Milford Food Truck Festival

This was my first time going to this festival. I had my girls for the day and felt like going on a road trip with them. I saw this online and decided to check it out. It was the perfect weather for a festival. There were a ton of food trucks. Vendors selling stuff and activities for children. I liked they had bleachers out so you could sit and eat on them. Kids loved the pony rides, face painting and Thomas the Train rise.

I always walk around first before picking which truck to eat from. I like to see all my options.

We ate pizza fritta, tacos, smoothie, cookies, and fried Oreos. The good thing about going in a group is you get to share everything. We spent almost 4 hours there. It’s going on today and tomorrow. Be sure to check it out.

Bonding...The Little Things Matter

Mom be sure to wake me up at 6:00. It’s a new trend we started. My daughter and I started working out together outside. Sometimes we chat. Sometimes we jog. Sometimes we get lost in our own headset and music. But whatever it is we are taking some time to do something together. Effortless. Healthy. Good for our body and mind and our relationship.

Being away a week for work we had some stuff to catch up on. So this morning we spoke most of the workout. It’s important to build these connections with our children. Even if it is something simple like taking a walk together the mornings I have her.

What bonding efforts do you make with your children?

Happiness Isn’t Attached To A Person

Your happiness should never be dependent or tied solely to a person or thing. Happiness is the power of finding happiness in your goals, surroundings and from all the love and support you have in your life. Those are your dictators in life. Not a person or thing.

Never Settle...Ever!

Life is meant to be an adventure. The good and bad both teach us a lot. Never settle.

I have 3 more big trips for this year. Where you see different parts of the USA. Where you see how others live. I started to realize seeing the sunrise would make me smile. The smell of different air. The desire to explore and try new things. It’s been amazing for my soul. My journey. My path. My growth.

Whoever stays aboard can experience it with me. Whoever leaves thank you for the memories. Whoever wants to join me be prepared for an amazing journey.

Build People Up

This applies to independent men too. In every relationship you have if you aren’t building eachother up. If you don’t compliment their growth efforts. If you don’t want the best for one another then it’s time to move on. Always walk beside eachother and make eachother the best versions of yourself. Never depend on anyone. Male or female. Just be with someone because it makes your heart happy.

Decide What You Want and You Shall Receive

Focus on what you really want. Picture it, be grateful for it and you will receive it.  Let go of road blocks!

Best Aquarium In the US... My Vote Is Georgia Aquarium

It’s remarkable. Everyone I asked said it’s a must see. The amazing aquarium where you walk through and above you not only are fish swimming but huge whale sharks!

There’s so much to see. So many rooms and floors. Sea lions, dolphins, beluga whales.   It’s extremely clean and organized. Breathtaking view all around you. This is no ordinary aquarium. This is the Georgia Aquarium. 2nd largest aquarium in the world!

Sweet Stack in Atlanta Georgia

Would you like that on a cone or stuffed in between a cookie, brownie or donut? Um what?! This place is amazing. I ordered the salted caramel ice cream. In between a glazed donut with fruity pebbles. They then press it on a griddle so the donut is warm. If you show them that you follow them on Instagram you get 10% off your order. Best dessert!

Georgia...Georgia

I went for work. I swear I did. I met four of my clients at the Summit. One I worked for virtually 10 years. Amazing. So much fun. In between the all day meetings, cocktails dinners and breakfasts I explored. The peach cobbler, shrimp and grits, the late night karaoke bar, walking around the city. The art and history. The amazing, respectful and sweet people. Georgia is definitely one of our top trips.

Gotta love what you do. Who you have in your life. The adventures. The lessons. The blessings. Happy to be home with my kids. Kissed them while they slept. But there’s a lesson here. A lesson we all forget....

You get this one life. THIS life. You have to live it. 100%. Live it for you. For your kids. For your future.

I swear I go to bed happy. Count my blessing. Always be happy for YOU. I wish that for you too!

Checklist Hooters in Atlanta

Ok ok I know. Not a big deal but must say was cool to go in. Everyone in Atlanta are so friendly and fun. When you go out late and need something to eat Hooters was the place to go. First time going and must say their grilled chicken sandwich was delicious.

It was my cousin’s birthday so of course I had them come out and sing and the key lime pie was pretty good.

Atlanta Must Do’s

When your clients ask you to come to a summit in Georgia you go. I always wanted to go to Georgia so this was a huge mark off my bucket list. Luckily when I travel my cousin and sister join me. We have filled these past two days with some awesome experiences. We are in walking distance of Peachtree Street where a lot of great restaurants and bar are. Some fun shops but I needed more. I wanted to make sure I was seeing ALL of Atlanta.

What do you want to do J? Um honestly I don’t care as long as I get to try real southern soul food simple yet home-cooked food. Well today I did and it was well worth the wait.

We went to Busybee Cafe. Locals go there. People from all over go there. It’s off the map not near our hotel not in a busy or prettiest part of Atlanta but we didn’t care. Even our Urber driver was hesitant. We still said nope here’s where we want to go. We wanted the best fried chicken in Atlanta and well we got it. Fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, broccoli casserole, fried okra, Mac and cheese. Cornbread and mashed potatoes. Hello soul food! Like a big warm hug. There is await. A long one but so worth it.

I must say ALL our Urber drivers have been awesome. We are an outgoing group so it’s easy to start conversations but these drivers were so fun. On our way back to our hotel our driver gave us all the places in Atlanta to go to. Can you please bring us to them I asked.

Before you know it we are at the house Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in. We are at Krog Street where the whole tunnel is covered in artwork and graffiti and then she brings us to the skyline of Atlanta.  Amazing!

We have a couple more days to fill up some free time I have in between working and I am very excited.

World Of Coca-Cola Atlanta Georgia

This place is awesome. Great price to get in and fun to learn about the history of Coca Cola. After you get to sample almost 100 different flavors from all over the world. If you make it to Atlanta, Georgia be sure to check it out.
