Moonshine Margaritas…Thanks Colorado

We were walking downtown and saw this sign. Moonshine Tasting.

Have you ever tried Moonshine? It’s super strong. It hits you hard. We tried the regular one and then there were a ton of flavors to choose from.

I went with the margarita moonshine. It was strong and then he added a shot of lemonade to it and it was delicious!!

I asked if we could get two big margaritas with lemonade to go. He laughed.

What’s your favorite flavored Moonshine?

You Can Fall In Love With The Same Person Over and Over Again

Take the time to reconnect. Don’t take them for granted. I fall in love with him over and over again. Could it be scary. Yes.

This trip I completely fell head over heels over him again

Dating after divorce is so different. It’s trusting someone. Combining your families. Having trust in them even though your past dating experiences may have been rough and you fear it will happen again. It’s really a process but it’s amazing. I fell in love with someone at 40 yrs old. I met someone who had a past and a life way before I even came along. But we choose each other everyday. Not because we have to. Not at all. Not because we have children together- we don’t.  No. None of that. We choose each other by choice. Pure choice.

Nothing tying us together to anything but just because two people who met, became best friends and fell in love.

That’s my love story. What’s yours?

Welcome To Smokin’ Dave’s BBQ In Estes Park, CO

My one flaw about coming to Colorado was not finding a lot of great places to eat. Well we didn’t run into that problem in Estes Park.

This restaurant was delicious and fun and had a lot
of really cool beers on tap.

I got the Dry Dock Apricot Blond. It was so good!! The flavoring was delicious. Light. A hint of fruit after you sipped it. So fun!

My boyfriend got to honey wheat and loved it.

Dinner was delicious and great price too!!

Making The Best Decisions For You: Don’t Take Life For Granted

*picture from online

I walked into my meeting Tuesday and my client said there’s a fire. It’s East of us in the mountains. They shut down a major highway.

All I could think about was my boyfriend. He was about 90 mins from our cabin spending the day racing. His new happy hobby.

I text him and he said he saw the fire when he was driving. He was heading back and we told him to take a different route.

It didn’t sit  well with me. I made a decision to leave the mountains that night and head to a hotel near the airport so we didn’t have any issues leaving the next morning for our flight.

I feared the shift of the wind would cause the fire to be near us. We were right there. What if we have to evacuate in the middle of the night?

It was stressful. Sad. We spent the weekend in those mountains. It’s so dry out and windy. A tree fell and struck an electrical wire which is how the fire started. 140 acres were damaged. A pilot died while trying to put out the fire.

It was so sad. It really overwhelmed me. It showed how something so beautiful could change within seconds. Seconds. Life can change.

Never take life for granted. Luckily the fire was put out by Thursday. We were able to stay in Denver for the night and our flight went great. But make decisions in your life you’re comfortable with. I was happy my boyfriend agreed with the decision to leave.
