Legends of Fear in Shelton
Job well done Legends of Fear! Loved this Haunted hayride. The characters come on the tractor. Clowns with chain saws, butchers with bloody aprons, pirates, zombies, tunnels and wave like lighting around you so you think you’re surrounded by water.
Genius!
After we got hot cider, warm delicious mini donuts that taste like funnel cake and hung by the fire pit.
Can’t wait to see what you do next year.

Norwalk Public Library Baking Class: Pumpkin Scones
I LOVE these monthly free virtual baking classes being held by the Norwalk Public Library. They provide all the dry ingredients and recipe. Day of class you take out the refrigerated items on list and during zoom class they walk you through how to make the recipes.
My kids have so much fun doing it and this recipe was delicious!
The Baking Chef does a great job showing us how to combine the ingredients and the host is always so
Patient and answers all the questions anyone has.
We look forward to next months class.
Relationship Goals
I told my boyfriend one day when he’s 60 years old and we are hosting Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids I want him to come out and surprise me wearing this shirt. 🧡
New England Foliage
Every year I take the kids on a scenic ride to check out the Foliage. It’s my favorite time of year. We have been so lucky with how beautiful it is outside.
This morning my girls said. See Mom we don’t need to go for a ride, we just need to walk outside.
They are right. It’s amazing no matter where you look!

Celebrating Her Confirmation
She picked my father to be her sponsor. They are best buds. They can’t really go places together because they goof around so much. But I felt it was super sweet the relationship they have.
I booked her celebration at Romanacci in Westport. It’s
awesome there. They have a ton of seatings and a full menu. Of course we ordered their pizza too. It’s delicious and everyone had a great time and full bellies.

I ordered her cake from Stop and Shop on CT Ave in Norwalk. It was delicious and gorgeous. You can’t beat the price too.
It was an awesome family day together.

You’ve Been Boo’ed
I love this new trend. It’s adorable. Kids get a Halloween treat at their door and it gets them into the Halloween spirit. I sent it to my girls, niece and boyfriend’s daughter with a riddle so they had to guess who it was from. These were from Cookie Bouquets. Other people have left Halloween goodie bags at doors of people.
Getting Boo’ed at had a different meaning for me growing up. Love this new meaning of being Boo’ed.
*“ Families sneak special treats onto neighbors' or friends' porches after dark with a note attached saying "You've Been Booed". When a family gets "booed", they have two days to "boo" two other families, spreading the fun.”

Make The Changes
I always loved this about myself. The ability, desire and want to seek within with every situation and say how did I play a role in this and how can I change going forward.
Why?
Because it helps you grow as a person. The problem is a lot of people seek to repair others. If he or she did this then… He or she has to change in order for things to be better…
And yes there is truth in that but we all know we can’t change anyone but ourselves.
End the nonsense and try seek peace within. Acknowledge your role in situations and be sure to accept your faults. Own your truths.

Last Family Vaca of 2022…Florida
What a great trip!
His family rented a house in Orlando for a week and we flew out with the kids. Gorgeous weather and an amazing house.
6 bedrooms with 4 baths. A pool, hot tub and game room.
We didn’t want to leave. After all the trips we have been on this was top on our list. Kids woke up and swam as we made breakfast. We then hung out and went to the resort pool. One day we did Universal Studios since we have been to the other parks before so we wanted to try something new. Was so relaxing and a great end of year vacation.
The best part of all…. My boyfriend agreed to wear matching shirts with us. Something he said he would
never do.

Did I Miss National Boyfriend’s Day
I really wonder who comes up with these holidays. I actually missed it. It was yesterday but had to post this because I do love this man a lot.
I love him for different reason than I ever loved anyone. He’s real. Like I can say anything to him. Anything at all. I don’t have to tip toe around an issue or watch what I say or do. I literally can say anything at any moment and he listens.
Listening. Validating.
Isn’t that what we all want. Someone who listens to us. Now he doesn’t always agree with me. BUT he acknowledges when I feel a certain way or when I have a need that’s not being met or when I am upset.
So with that I honor this made up holiday because he’s been my boyfriend for almost 2 1/2 years and he loves all me and accepts all of me. That isn’t easy to find.

Off The Grid in Stephentown NY
We took the kids here a couple weeks ago. Camping off the grid in a Yurt. No electronics, running water or electricity.
They washed dishes in a river and used an outhouse. We cooked on burners outside and inside on a wood stove.
They whittled and played cards by candlelight.
Was a super fun experience and they actually loved it. We found it through hipcamp.com.
Life off the grid was a great experience!
