Girls Weekend
I only had my two little ones and alone this weekend. As you can tell I am not one to sit still so we did some shopping, Playland, swimming and hung home. Needless to say it was nice to have some one on one time with them. It's always crazy how different life is with two kids vs when you have all three.
Tips:
Double strollers are heavy and bulky but do an amazing job.
Snacks: pack lots of snacks. Lite and non messy ones are best.
Nap time: if they miss it they become little monsters so be sure to at least get home early enough for an early bed time.
Shopping, ice cream before lunch, Playland, pool time...the perfect "girls" weekend.
Playland In Rye New York
I only had my two little ones this weekend so was brainstorming something fun to do. My mom suggested we take them to Playland. We used to go a lot as children but I probably haven't been there in ten years.
You pay to get in. With admission you get unlimited rides. Adults $30 to ride. Kids $20. Just to walk around park $10. Children 2 and under free BUT to go on rides must be with an Adult who has a bracelete and selected rides they can go on. Kind of confusing. They do have the beach area and a pool. There's a seperate admission fee for that. Not too bad in price.
We stayed in Kiddyland the whole time but did walk around for food. The girls had a blast. There was entertainment for them too. Probably every 45 mins was a dancing interactive children show. Then kids lined up and met the character and took a picture.
We got lucky too because the weather wasn't too bad. Not too hot. It did drizzle a little but felt kindof good. We stay for four hours. We could of stayed longer but we, the adults, we're getting a little tired. It's a thirty minute ride from Norwalk.

We even saw a wedding party there taking pictures.
I would definitely go back.
Meditate To See Your Third Eye
This is actually pretty amazing. Whenever I do it I see the top of trees and mountains. It's hard to focus at first and does take practice but when you do meditate it's amazing what you see. Be prepared for what you do see. This is really digging deep and a spiritual experience.
