How Badly Do You Want Something?
I can tell countless stories that resemble this. A Friend who wanted change and had every opportunity for it and didn’t take it. Or people who come along to love and adore you and your mind is stuck on the person who doesn’t.
Where we wanted change in our life and god presented the opportunities and we over looked them.
Open your eyes. Sometimes it’s not spelled out but in reality the signs are all there.
Is Your Glass Half Full it Half Empty
Have you ever been super excited about something and then plans change? Like out of the blue and then spontaneous situations occur.
That’s my life.
Not always. But a lot of the times. So the other day a situation occurred where I had made plans a week prior and then things changed mid day. Out of no where. I won’t lie. I was super annoyed and bummed out just because I was really excited about it.
Let’s back track. Earlier in the day I got asked to stay at a hotel for free since I booked a client retreat there and the lady wanted to meet me so she offered a comp room for me to visit. I then had girlfriends ask to hang out. Another friend asked to hang out. But my focus was on my plans being cancelled. Then my mom offered to cover for me so I could go to an appointment. A lady bug flew in my car. Now picture this. Was my day good or bad?
One may say you were disappointed that your plans got canceled. Plans you were looking forward to. Another would say you got a free hotel room, girlfriends want to come to dinner, you visited a friend, your mom helped so you could make an appointment and not be late, a lady bug flew in your car.
Um yeah my day was awesome.
Just because one thing goes wrong doesn’t mean you lose the sight of all that went right. That’s my hope for you all. My hope is you too look at your glass being half full not half empty. I had 5 amazing things happen and 1 disappointed one. Who wins my attention? The 5 all the way!!!

Why Half Full People Live More Fulfilling Lives
What’s Your Heart Telling You?
We all gravitate towards love. Look at your life. Your relationships: current and past.
Love gravitated you towards someone. The way they made you feel, the way they looked at you. The way they made you laugh. How you can be yourself around them. The fun you have. The way you can tell them anything. They are your best friend. Your souls purpose.
We can’t love our fake self. We love our true self. We love because someone makes us feel special and good. They make us feel alive. They help us see beauty in things. When they look at us they see our soul.
That doesn’t have to change. In time lust fades but not love. Your heart still yearns for that person you’re meant to love and have in your life. You still look at them and say you can’t imagine your life without them.
If it does change. Work on it. If it can’t be fixed move on with your life to make your heart feel love and happiness again.
I am in my search for that type of love because I believe it exists and can remain. I believe we all want love that lasts. Not short term. Not lust. Real genuine care about someone type of love.
