Her Presence Calms Me
I am so lucky to have so many amazing women and men in my life but there’s always that one friend…
The one whose hug heals your soul.
I have this one friend she’s the best. She’s real and fun and spiritual and pure. She’s beautiful inside out. We met years ago while dating friends and I see her a couple times a month.
We met over the weekend for coffee and crepes- again. Our favorite French spot. Its feel like we are away when we walk into the restaurant. Even the waiter had an accent. A genuine sweet man. He laughed with us and when he heard my name he repeated it with a fun accent.
He made me the best cappuccino and when he looked at my friend he said to her when you walked in you brought in this light and I replied you’re right, she always does, she’s the most genuine person I know. He could tell just within seconds of meeting her.
I hope I am that person for others. Be that person for others too.
