October 16th Enjoy Your Better Days

What’s In Your Head?

So funny and scary but at times can be true!

It Was All A Learning Process

What’s the Meaning Of Life?

Everything in life has a purpose. What’s YOUR meaning of life?

Happy Wednesday...Appreciate Your Life

Get up and say... I am so grateful. I have an amazing life.

I woke up early again to hear my little ones voices. It’s been long working hours on my business trip BUT amazing and every moment I am alone or catching myself smile I give thanks for my amazing life.

It’s simple. Don’t get me wrong. One may look at it and see 1,000 flaws but I don’t.

You all have an amazing life too. You just don’t see it because there are all this “static and noise” that sucks up our energy.

I want you today to give thanks at least once for your amazing life. Tomorrow give thanks two times. Day after three and so on.

I must give thanks ten times a day and say “what an amazing life.”

3 Rules For Life

How One Morning View Can Change It All

I set my alarm for 4:00 am. I am in California for work and I wanted to speak to my girls before they went to school. Of course I couldn’t go back to sleep. I logged into work and from the corner of my eye I see purple and run outside my balcony.

It changed my whole mood. It set my mood for the rest of the day. Calm. Happy. Gratitude.

Life isn’t meant to be so serious. It’s meant to enjoy the little things like an amazing sunrise. Cherish those little moments.

Let That Go...Restart...Learn From Your Past

You have to let the past go. You have to realize that isn’t you anymore and even if you’re still tied to some toxic people or situations they don’t need to consume who you are. Pray for them. Release them. Let go of anything that is not serving your highest good.

Learn from your lessons. Learn from your past.

Personal Growth Happens When You Start To Not Care

This is powerful. Never feel you have to justify your life and your decisions. Do know that it’s your life. Your story. Your journey. Those who want to be a part of it love you and those who want to talk about it need your prayers. They need to heal themselves.

We always think we have to justify actions or our journey. We don’t. We only have to be happy within.  Be true to yourself.

Heal Your Inner Child...Break The Cycle

Heal your inner child. I see this often. People carry pain they developed so young. You need to reconnect within and heal. You need to heal or you’ll
never have healthy, stable, relationships. You’ll always carry pain and anger within you.

As parents it’s our responsibility to not have our kids witness or experience any instability or pain or anger. It’s to help them grow to be healthy, happy, responsible
people who don’t need healing.

Break the cycle.

Release Worry

💛

Happy Tuesday

Mom Guilt...It’s Normal & Ok

We all go through it. The battle of what we could be or should be. No one gets it right. There’s always going to be someone who says you’re doing it wrong. There’s always going to be someone who criticizes it makes you feel worse and you know what don’t listen to them.

End of day Mom Guilt is real. It’s ok. To be home all the time or traveling for work or knowing when you’re not there they miss you. It’s hard.

When I am with them I am Mom. Legit mom. When I am not with them I can be me. I would always drop whatever for what they need. No matter how good others care for them Moms all know no one can care for them like we do. We put them first. We rearrange our life for them. We plan it all. We prepare for it all. It’s how it should be. But we always say we can do more or be more.

For now just know you’re doing your best. 💗

Just Three Simple Words

❤️

Let Go Of Control...

You need to watch what you say...or do I.

I am not the person who believes in that nor obey when someone says that to me. It’s control. Which life isn’t about that. It’s about sharing your journey and experience with others so they don’t feel alone. To understand that we all have been through situations and have a past and yet have overcome that and moved forward with life to be better. Not better for anyone but better for ourselves. To push ourselves. To be happy. To love the life we have. To overcome obstacles and someone else control.

My words are my feelings. My life. If you don’t like it you don’t have to read it. ... Is what I really wanted to say. But instead I said back off and stay out of my business. Because life isn’t controlled by someone. Life is controlled by your own self. And the more control someone tries to imply on someone the more they will fight to be free from it.

Life is magical and there will always be someone shooting down your happiness and you know what. Be even happier. Because no one in life should control you. We all should be cheering eachother on. If you’re not cheering for me please remove yourself so I can focus on those who are. If you need someone to cheer for you let me know because I believe that focusing on happiness should be our only goal. I want that for you.

As for control...release it. It’s not healthy for anyone.

The Dilly Duck Shop For Breakfast

I have been wanting to come here for a year. I finally got to check it out. My friends were so excited and named this our new breakfast spot.

It’s so cute inside. The staff is ridiculously nice. So friendly.

It’s so clean and cute inside. You feel like you’re away on vacation.

Their coffee is delicious and two of us got their breakfast sandwiches with ham and cheddar cheese. It came with a side little salad. Delicious. The bread is grilled to perfection.

My other friend got their pasta which was delicious. You have to try this place. So cute.

Don’t Stress...Enjoy Your Process

Who Are Your People?

Distance Teaches You A lot

When you give someone or a situation space you get to process it. You get to realize how you feel about it. What value it has to you. How your emotions are. How you heart and mind feels. You then can see if it has space and value in your life. You then can see how it affected you and if you want to move forward with it or not.

It’s pretty amazing.

Taking It Back To My Roots

My parents went to Arthur Ave today and when I  walked by their dining room table I stopped and got a flashback from my youth. When my mom made us tea it was always Chamomile. I even like it with milk. Then my dad always brought home Nutella Italian stuffed croissants . I remember the smell and taste just looking at the package. While I was looking at some goodies I enjoyed through my childhood this Song was playing on the Television.

October 12th Rise Above Your Past

Healing...When The Memories Resurface

I saw an old friend. Been a while. He asked how I was. He said I looked great.  We started to talk about our kids and life and then he brought up my past. He asked how things were now. Better I said. He then started to discuss some things I went through.

I swear the wounds opened up. Even though I have healed doesn’t mean those memories aren’t damaging because they are. It was a period of my life that I would never repeat or want relive. Even briefly discussing things reopened feelings of anger.

Unmet expectations is all I had to say. He understood. He knew my situation. My life. My past. We seen it with other people in our childhood crew. But it did something to me. At first it was pain. Embarrassing that I had to go through such bullshit. It then gave me power. It made me feel strong for being on my own. For not staying in a situation that was toxic and not good. You gotta understand people know. You don’t have to speak or justify your life. People aren’t blind or stupid. People talk. They see the truth. He hugged me a couple of times. He understood. I didn’t even had to say much.

I think we all have pain. We go through crazy moments in our life. Domestic Violence. Childhood fears. A loss of a parent or loved one. A job loss. People stabbing us in the back. Reclaiming who we are. Someone cheating. Childhood trauma. A sickness we overcame. Debt. A lifelong illness we always have to deal with.  The list is endless. But something on this list we all had to deal with. It’s our path. Our journey.

The memories can cause pain and reopen wounds but let it always give you strengthen. Let it prove how far you have come. Who you had to become because of it. You’re a brave soul. Never doubt that. You have overcome stuff people don’t ever want to face or handle. But you did. Those wounds will always be there but it makes you the warrior you are. That’s why you can’t settle now. You have come so far. Don’t ever let someone take your power or strengthen away.

Kee Oyster House in White Plains

We had to go back and we will be back again. I can’t even explain how amazing this place is. We sat at the bar again and made even more friends this time. I love sitting at a bar while dining. You start to mingle with workers and other people around you. You find out about local area to try out. We learned that this restaurant has an awesome lobster special on Monday nights.

So let’s get to the bottom line...the appetizer I got was the most delicious appetizer I have had in a really long time. So much so that writing about it my mouth is watering.

Mussels with chorizo in a white wine broth.

AMAZING!!

Before

After

They serve it with a side of grilled Italian bread. You dip it in the broth. Phenomenal!!

We then got shrimp cocktail. Scallop risotto and linguini with clams.

We stayed for hours. Laughing. Eating. Drinking. Meeting new people. We became friends with the workers. Such a great vibe and amazing food.

We can’t wait to go back.
