We all do this. I know you do too. Stop! We put expectations on people to be something they are not.
We get caught in this illusion. It’s so silly. We set ourselves up for disappointment.
It’s Not fair to put pressure on people to different than who they are. Not fair to think someone can be more when they aren’t capable. Not fair to you or them to think they can give you more. I know. Let that sink in.
Take them for how they are or let them go and be with someone who will love them for their all.
