Food Bazaar in Bridgeport CT

Wow!

It’s huge. It reminds me of Bon Giorno. It had a ton of authentic food. Especially Asian and Spanish. I was sort in Heaven. They even have a polish section and it reminded me of this polish store I would go to in Norwalk.

The types of herbs and roots they had were insane.  They had fruit I never seen but have heard of. They had a huge fish department. They had blood clams- bet you never heard of it. Because I never have either. I looked it up and it does have a red liquid inside. Crazy right.

I of course was on a mission to find dulce de leche I had as a kid. We would spread arequipe- on a special wafer called Obleas. It’s a Colombian wafer.

I found the little containers but they didn’t carry the wafers. I will still order them to get the full effect.

Crazy how food can bring back so many memories. My mom looked at me and said you had to have been from South America or Asia in your past life. She’s right. I love this stuff.

They had a ton of fun stuff.

Dragon fruit

Good luck plant “money tree”

Even fun variations of Nutella mixed with fruity flavors.
