October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This is a very sensitive subject to me and millions of people out there. We all know some who has or had breast cancer and it is so important to educate yourself.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is an amazing organization to donate to or to get educated to understanding Breast Cancer, prevention, and how you can help others or cope.  

Remember ladies get your yearly mammograms and now mammograms are not just recommended for women over 40. If you have a strong family history be sure to notify your doctor so you can get checked prior to being 40. Trust me, they are not the worst test to go through and it is better to be safe. Early prevention is the best way to curing yourself from this horrible disease.

Did you know... according to the American Cancer Society about 230,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer in women was estimated in 2011. Help donate to this cause today.
