The Secret To Living Longer

Apple Picking At Silverman's Farm In Easton CT

Was the perfect Fall morning  to go Apple picking. It's one of my favorite things to do in the Fall. The place was packed but a worker gave us a tip that we could buy our picking bags inside to bypass a line outside. The bag we bought was $19.99 and held almost 10 lbs of apples.

We get our bags and go in line. So much entertainment. Super cute haystacks dressed like minions. Food vendors. Just a fun festive place.

We picked apples and then the kids placed outside. Stopped in store to purchase fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts- my all time favorite!

My FAVORITE were the honey crisp apples. Amazing!!

Fall Fun At The Monroe Food Truck Festival

I attended the food truck flea market festival in Monroe it was a lot of fun. I must admit I hung out mostly in the food area and got to enjoy some fun eats.

Pork Friends

When I saw this truck I envisioned pork grinds. Sure thing someone walked by with a sandwich that had pork grinds on top. I went with my sister and we got their pork balls and plantain sandwich.

It was awesome. Picture a rice ball idea but instead tasted like a stuffed potatoe skin. The plantain sandwich had shredded pork. Was delicious. All that was missing was a corona.

Donut Crazy

This is like the adult version of the ice cream truck. I can envision people going nuts as it drives by.

The donuts are like no other. Super creative flavors. The best part is the price. Really the fancy donuts are only $3. I know picture the price of a pastry because that's kindof what they are and the small traditional donuts are $2. They are huge and amazing. We got the Crunchy Nutella, Cannoli, Creme Bruelle and Black Hawk. The Nutella didn't even make it past the parking lot. Super good. Even their iced coffee was delicious. They have a lot of locations. Hopefully one will be opening in Norwalk in the future- hint hint.

Eddie's Churro

Stuffed churros- unreal. They were huge. We ended up getting their empanadas. A beef and chicken. We felt it was stew inside. Amazing and comforting and super big for $3.00 each.

Oversall we left with our bellys stuffed and super happy and I even scored three purses and shopkins bracelets for my girls. I will never tell the price. Ha-ha.

Looking forward to going again next year!
