Let Your Past Be Your Past
We all have a past. No matter who you are. There will always be friendships or relationships that suddenly crashed or ended. That faded away. Sometimes we just walk away without ever knowing why. We all know it’s for the best. Always. But sometimes a song or a smell or a place reminds you of that person and you wonder how they are.
It doesn’t mean you should reach out. That’s just silly. It just means that people leave a mark in your life. Some break your hearts. Some leave without a reason. Some stay forever. Wish them well and it’s ok to remember the good. To still hold them in your heart. It’s normal. We are human. We impact one another all the time.
Choose Your People Wisely
Ever been around someone like this? Where you can’t have a voice or a say or can’t even bring up a discussion without them shooting it down? I can’t stand those situations. It’s draining.
After all this time it still bothers me when people don’t get it. When they don’t see their argumentative views. Where their tongue is sharp and their vibe just drains the people around them.
People have to realize that inorder for someone to want or to enjoy your company you have to provide good company. And for those who drain you limit your time with them. It’s not worth your peace. You won’t change them. Just change your relationship with them.
