Touch-A-Truck Events Saturday Oct 8th

These events are the best. I LOVE Touch-A-Truck events. Probably my favorite to do with the Kids. There are two tomorrow one in Norwalk and one in East Haven. If you can get to one you will not be dissapointed. Money raised goes to a great cause and I promise you will enjoy it!

Norwalk CT:
Kids can come dressed up and do some trick or treating. $5 per person. Money raise benefits Children's Connection:

East Haven CT:
This event is free to enter. They have some awesome food trucks that will be there. 203 Urgent Care has teamed up with MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) to put this event together:

Describe To Me About Your Mom...

I was walking with my daughter to my car after school. I always ask how her day was and what they did. She told me they had to describe people in their life. "Mom I had to describe how you were like." Oh geez, I thought, A million things went through my head. I mean I was pretty calm this morning before drop off but doesn't mean she would remember verse the other days I was a green monster getting them ready and out the door. Of course I was hesitant and I finally asked "Wow really what did you say?"

At that point I grabbed the door handle and opened it. I heard her say "My mom is a hard worker". I stopped in my tracks. "What did you say sweetie" "Mom I told my class my mom is a hard worker. Oh and you do all the cooking and cleaning too!" She said and laughed.

Hard worker! Me?! My little girl looked up to her mom,me, and thinks of me as being a hard worker. I mean she's right. I run a business. A household. Am raising three girls and take care of two dogs. I would say hard worker is a deserved titled BUT never imagined all this time she valued me and looked at me like I was.

Needless to say I am tearing up just writing about it!
