Start Building Yourself
I set goals for this weekend one was redoing my company logo. I am expanding and felt I needed a change. Change starts from within. To get a passion for what you want. For working on YOU. Not what others want for you but for what you want for yourself.
My next huge goal is to get my website up and going. It's been three years that I kept it on the back burner.
Next is to get my business cards up to date. Holding on to the ones I had doesn't help when I am focusing on change.
I am attending a business networking group this week to meet people and network.
Excited for the new adventures ahead. After all it's time to focus on making me happy and by that I mean continuing to grow what I love.

Want To Be Happy? Fall In Love With Your Work
Really makes a huge difference when you are happy with your job. Doing what you love brings happiness but sometimes we don't really know what it is until we are doing it.
I love my job. It is hard at times when I am juggling being a mom taking care of my home and everything that goes along with life but I truly do love my clients and what I do. Once you reach that point it's easier to fix everything else around you that's not making you happy.

Roasted Fall Vegetables
I can't take 100% credit for this. I did add some things but really Blue Apron inspired me and it's so delicious. If you could imagine Fall being a food it would be this. Perfect for thanksgiving or to serve on the side with chicken or a roast or steak. Just delicious. 
What You Need:
3 medium potatoes
2 cups of brussle sprouts chopped
2 cups of chopped butternut squash
1 onion chopped
1 Apple chopped
Olive oil
Salt
In a bowl add potatoes and butternut squash. Coat with olive oil and mix. Add salt. Spread out single layer on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake at 425 for 18 minutes. Then add apples and onions and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Simply delicious.
The Foliage In Connecticut Just Amazing!
I am on a kick with stopping and enjoying the foliage. My kids are cracking up over it. I always turn down the music and shout "look look, that tree is amazing!"
Sometimes I stop and take a picture. It's really taking a toll on me. It's really helping me smile more and enjoy the little things is life: Nature!

Fall & Pumpkin Festivals This Weekend
Silvermine Elementary School:
Silvermine Elementary in Norwalk is having their first Fall Festival Saturday, Oct 22nd. 2:00-5:00 pm.
Free admission. Kids can come dressed up. They will have a Trunk a Treat, Petting Zoo, Hay Ride, Face Painting and more!
Downtown Putnam Great Pumpkin Festival:
Great Pumpkin Festival and Foliage Train Ride Downtown Putnam CT on Saturday, Oct 22nd 10:00am-4:00 pm. Free admission. Fee for train ride.
They have Arts and crafts, pumpkin decorating, face painting, kids games and art projects, harvest fair, live music, pumpkin carving, pie eating contest, paint your own pumpkin bank, demos, petting zoo, clown, balloon artist, and more!
Write It Down, Start Today!
Readers let's do a project. It's a group effort. Make a list of everything you are grateful for. Even if it's something silly like "I am grateful for ice cream or Friday". Make a list of 10 items. If you can do more awesome.
Now make a list of all the things you want or think you deserve. Example I wanted new clients this year and to hire people. I said it over and over again.
Finally everyday look at these list. Read them out loud or to yourself. Believe truly believe in them. Picture having them. Smile reading all that you are grateful for.
Lastly send me a message when they come true. Please do!
See it's the power of believing. Sending out to the universe what you want and being grateful for all you have.
This year my goal was to get more clients and hire someone to help me. I just hired my third subcontractor today. It's empowering and you hold that power.

Happy National Pasta Day!
Pasta is a must in my household. Whether plain, with sauce, olive oil are in broth my little ones love it. Tonight I actually made it without knowing it was national pasta day.
A good friend of mine had surgery so besides the typical flowers what do you bring a friend: FOOD!
So I dropped off sauce and pasta! Must admit was pretty darn good!

Let's Meet Santa: Essex Steam Train Santa Special
We took the kids for the first time last year and it is so much fun. Imagine pulling up to a train station all decorated in Christmas gear. Even the conductors are shining bright with Christmas cheer. You board the train. The train inside is decorated for Christmas. Christmas music fills the cabin. Then all these characters come with "elves" they stop and take a picture with your children. Each child gets a small gift. You just keep singing carols.
Train is moving and Santa and Mrs. Claus come,the children's face light up. It's amazing. Truly gets you in the holiday spirit. We go Thanksgiving weekend to help us kick off the holiday season. Tickets are only $20 a person. Really a great family fun experience!

Stamford Nature Center Fall Festival Is This Weekend
I love this place. So fun and the children love the animals. Their Harvest Festibal kicks off this weekend and takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
Have your children come dressed up and they can participate in the parade.
