Meriden Daffodil Festival This Weekend
Meriden Daffodil Festival will feature fields of over 61 varieties of yellow and white daffodils.
Daffodil Festival Dates: Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, 2019
Location: Hubbard Park in Meriden, Connecticut.
Times: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission: Admission and parking are both free.

We always end our Easter with doing an egg war with hard boiled eggs. We try to see if we can crack someone’s egg with our egg. We have been doing this for as long as I could remember. It’s fun to pass this tradition down to our kids.

Cafe Madrid Norwalk- Comfort Food
I was on my way home from going to happy hour and received a text from a group of girlfriends asking to meet for dinner. I turn around and headed in their direction. Sometimes the best nights are unplanned. The just go with it nights.
We always enjoy eating at Cafe Madrid in Norwalk. The staff is great. Food flavors are always consistent. I usually get their Osso Bucco but I was craving comfort food so got their Pasta Juliana- pesto with grilled chicken, mushrooms and tomatoe. My girlfriend has been craving the pasta carbonara. Was delicious.
They have a comedy night coming up on April 27th. Be sure to check it out.

Retail Therapy...Best Ever!
I am going shopping was the worst thing I said. I should of known better. Before I knew it I was buying stuff I didn’t even need. But I must say I did get one thing that will make every morning better!
Sometimes all it takes is a night out. A shopping experience and great conversation before bed full of laughs to make any Monday night great!
