Would you like that on a cone or stuffed in between a cookie, brownie or donut? Um what?! This place is amazing. I ordered the salted caramel ice cream. In between a glazed donut with fruity pebbles. They then press it on a griddle so the donut is warm. If you show them that you follow them on Instagram you get 10% off your order. Best dessert!

Georgia...Georgia
I went for work. I swear I did. I met four of my clients at the Summit. One I worked for virtually 10 years. Amazing. So much fun. In between the all day meetings, cocktails dinners and breakfasts I explored. The peach cobbler, shrimp and grits, the late night karaoke bar, walking around the city. The art and history. The amazing, respectful and sweet people. Georgia is definitely one of our top trips.
Gotta love what you do. Who you have in your life. The adventures. The lessons. The blessings. Happy to be home with my kids. Kissed them while they slept. But there’s a lesson here. A lesson we all forget....
You get this one life. THIS life. You have to live it. 100%. Live it for you. For your kids. For your future.
I swear I go to bed happy. Count my blessing. Always be happy for YOU. I wish that for you too!

Checklist Hooters in Atlanta
Ok ok I know. Not a big deal but must say was cool to go in. Everyone in Atlanta are so friendly and fun. When you go out late and need something to eat Hooters was the place to go. First time going and must say their grilled chicken sandwich was delicious.
It was my cousin’s birthday so of course I had them come out and sing and the key lime pie was pretty good.

Atlanta Must Do’s
When your clients ask you to come to a summit in Georgia you go. I always wanted to go to Georgia so this was a huge mark off my bucket list. Luckily when I travel my cousin and sister join me. We have filled these past two days with some awesome experiences. We are in walking distance of Peachtree Street where a lot of great restaurants and bar are. Some fun shops but I needed more. I wanted to make sure I was seeing ALL of Atlanta.
What do you want to do J? Um honestly I don’t care as long as I get to try real southern soul food simple yet home-cooked food. Well today I did and it was well worth the wait.
We went to Busybee Cafe. Locals go there. People from all over go there. It’s off the map not near our hotel not in a busy or prettiest part of Atlanta but we didn’t care. Even our Urber driver was hesitant. We still said nope here’s where we want to go. We wanted the best fried chicken in Atlanta and well we got it. Fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, broccoli casserole, fried okra, Mac and cheese. Cornbread and mashed potatoes. Hello soul food! Like a big warm hug. There is await. A long one but so worth it.
I must say ALL our Urber drivers have been awesome. We are an outgoing group so it’s easy to start conversations but these drivers were so fun. On our way back to our hotel our driver gave us all the places in Atlanta to go to. Can you please bring us to them I asked.
Before you know it we are at the house Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in. We are at Krog Street where the whole tunnel is covered in artwork and graffiti and then she brings us to the skyline of Atlanta. Amazing!
We have a couple more days to fill up some free time I have in between working and I am very excited.
World Of Coca-Cola Atlanta Georgia
This place is awesome. Great price to get in and fun to learn about the history of Coca Cola. After you get to sample almost 100 different flavors from all over the world. If you make it to Atlanta, Georgia be sure to check it out.

What’s Your Love Language?
A friend sent me this link. Men and women both have needs and should be in tune with what will make them happy. Relationships should be a give and take. 50-50 balance. When it’s not balanced you either step it up or back out. You can’t be a taker or giver without balance.
I must admit my results were on point. I asked a couple of friends to take it and their results were also on point. What matters to you in a relationship? What shows people they care and love you? What makes you happy?

My top happiness in a relationship is being able to spend quality time with someone. Doesn’t have to be doing anything expensive. Just spending good time together. Either hanging on a beach or a nice dinner or food truck festival. Walks, grabbing coffee or tacos. Simple easy quality time. The second is someone doing something nice to help me out or release stress without me asking. To offer to help if they see me overwhelmed.
Take the quiz and see what works for you: https://www.5lovelanguages.com/quizzes/
My scores are below:

Did your test results show your true self?

Working Out Goals!
Healthy habits healthy vibes. It was never about being skinny. Let’s face it I am a mom of three. It was always about being someone who took care of their body. I have this burst of energy. Desire to cut out all bad habits and focus just on good. To push myself to have the body I had many years ago.
It’s never about being skinny. It’s about looking like I take care of myself because my body is my temple. It carried three kids and beat cancer. I need to be strong and healthy for my girls. For my mind and soul. Be good to you and your body!
Let it out...Let it go!
She reached out to me. I haven’t seen her in a couple months. A sweet friend of mine I met through friends we were dating. We used to go on double dates together. Spent New Year’s together, dance parties and dinners. They were fun times.
We met for dinner. We dumped it all on the table. Everything we experienced. Everything that was said. Laughed so hard the whole restaurant looked at us. When she hugged me she hugged my soul. She said now don’t we feel better?! Gave eachother a high five and toasted to focusing on happiness.
I wasn’t sure how I felt at first. I didn’t want to feel sad talking about our past. It wasn’t long ago and healing takes time. We both experienced similar pain but she was there and understood the situation. We both knew it all. The pain of losing friendships and companionship. We both witnessed the unnecessary drama.
You’re the coolest, baddest b!tch I ever met she said. We toasted to that. She looked amazing.
We all need people in our life who get it. Who been there and saw it from the other side. Who want nothing but happiness. Fun. Live life. Learn and move on. We planned another night together. But this time no talk of the past. Just two girls out to have fun. Cheers to that!

Take It Outside...
Even though we haven’t been having the normal type of May weather there’s still something about breathing in the early morning air. I started to take my workouts outside. Running. Walking. Stretching. The air, smell of nature, and sound of the birds, does something for the body and mind.
Set some goals and include taking them outside. Clear your mind and be good to your body.

Every Experience Gives You Growth
Every situation you go through makes you stronger and better. 💗
Yes I Will Give Thanks...Proud Mommy Moment
Change is hard. Especially when there are children involved. You want to focus on your happiness yet have theirs to focus on too. Every decision is torn due to how it will affect them yet bring happiness and peace in your life.
Today I received my daughter’s testing scores. These are standard testing across the district for her grade level. The report provides you with detailed information on your child’s academic progress and growth for the past couple of years to current.
I was blown away by my oldest progress. She’s always been super smart and outgoing. But this time the report showed me much more. The comparisons from 2017 to Spring 2019 proved a lot to me. She’s transitioned to a new school. Dealing with her parents having a divorce and moving into a new location. I couldn’t believe how all this change didn’t cause the harm you fear. She excelled every season. Every change.
I must admit the amount of love and happiness we surrounded our children with helped them transition easier with all this change. Their father and I always made sure we took time to make them happy and comfortable. Open communication is key in my household, to anything they had questions with or feared. I always said tell me even if I don’t want to hear it. What you feel is never going to be wrong.
With Mother’s Day around the corner it makes my heart happy to know that my girls are happy. I wouldn’t have done anything differently in my life. This path is the path we are meant to be on. My decisions in life have always been my choice a risk but worth every one of them.
She stopped at the store the other day and bought me this and said “Mom you need to know you’re the best mom I ever met.” I like to agree with her.

Are Your Core Values Aligned?
I see this all the time in my line of business. Many of my clients have set standard core values. It matters when hiring people to join their team or which clients they choose to work with. Everyone’s core values are different. A lot of times I tell my clients a client will not work out for them or a new hire for their organization because their core values do not align with the organization’s.
This is also a very overlooked yet important aspect you carry throughout life with relationships, friendships and even raising your children. Are your core values aligned with everyone who plays a role in your life? If not then things can never fully work out.
