Residence Inn Marriott in Breckenridge
We held a client retreat here before and the sales manager asked if I wanted to visit the venue so it was our first stop back in Colorado.
It’s beautiful. Driving through Breckenridge was amazing. When we arrive I got a tour of the meeting spaces. I said it’s gorgeous around here but reminds me of the Movie Dumb and Dumber. That’s because it was filmed in Breckenridge she said. I was shocked.
The view from the meeting space is of the mountains. She told me it’s the highest ski lift in America. The Imperial Express Superchair carries skiers and snowboarders to 12,840 feet at the top of Breckenridge's Peak 8 Mountain. Learn more here I really wished I knew how to ski.
Our double bed suite was perfect. Kitchen. Dining area. Beds are super comfortable and cozy. We get a complimentary breakfast in the morning which is a full blown breakfast.
Awesome decor inside too. The staff are extremely friendly.
Bangkok in Breckenridge Colorado
I love Thai Food. This place had a mix of Thai and Japanese. It’s really cute inside. Right in downtown Breckenridge. We ordered the chicken satay and shrimp summer rolls. Delicious. Really fresh and tender and reminds me of the place we get Thai from
in Connecticut.
Our waiter was great. The sticky rice took a while to come so he gave me a Thai Tea to have while I waited. This is Thai tea with a sweet milk in it. Usually condensed milk. The top is lighter than the bottom and while drinking it slowly blends together. Fun and I always wanted to try it.
The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the Pad Thai. It was on the sweeter side and we found out it’s because they added ketchup. Ketchup helps speed up the cooking process. American style Pad Thai is served that way. It’s a little redder the dish. Traditional Pad Thai does not have ketchup.

For The Middle One...
Things get confusing at times. That middle person has to come forth and pick a side. It’s your job to not be in limbo. It’s also your job to understand the middle person could never be your person. We all have or have had a middle person. Where they stay in limbo. Things never really end but things never blossom either. Break the cycle.

When Your Needs Are Being Met You Change
With every behavior a need is not being met. Think about it. When we react a certain way it’s because our needs aren’t being met. Our expectations aren’t being met. I swear it’s a trigger in us.
If our needs are met then we wouldn’t react. We would be happy and calm and content. When needs in us are not met we seek it elsewhere or live an unhappy life or settle thinking all good things come to an end or we can’t be 100% happy. If your needs were being met you wouldn’t behave the way you do.
If your needs were met verse people focusing on your behavior things would change. People would be more compassionate and giving. People would be more willing to make you happy or fulfill what was missing.
We react because we are hurt or feel rejected or have a void.
Things Change
These type of moments happen. One minute you have it all and are happy. Next things slip out of your hands and you’re picking up some broken pieces. All along you have to realize you had to pick yourself up.
Once someone’s sunshine now not ever seeing them. Once someone’s go to now you don’t even know how they are.
Life works in waves. You have to trust the journey. The ups and downs. Do understand we do hold on to things not meant to grow with us. Life can’t stay still. You need to grow and need people who can grow with you. Whether it’s a relationship or friend or career. If you can’t grow with you then move forward without them.

Sharky’s Eatery In Fraser Colorado
This place is awesome. It’s so cute inside. A little hut. The food was delicious. Our waitress was great. They have been around for 15 years. Won a bunch of awards.
I had their burger with a side salad. Was delicious and the salad was so refreshing. The girls ordered their grilled chicken sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. They both were delicious. Served with fries and sweet potato fries.
Their breakfast menu looks delicious. We want to go back to try it.
The vibe inside was totally our style.
They have special holiday drinks on their menu. I got their egg nog with spiked rum. We also tried their white cranberry mimosas. Really good and so festive. Even my straw was festive.
The decor was really cozy.
They even had a funny menu. Loved how creative they are.
Baby It’s Cold Outside...Oh Colorado
Everywhere we turned we saw heating lamps or fire pits and fireplaces. We bundled up and walked the strip. It’s unreal.
Picture cabins coated in white snow and decorated with lights. I woke up smiling. My heart was happy. Even though work is ahead of me it awesome to be able to explore a little.
I walk out from dinner and my sister says follow me. We climb over some snow banks and find a random
Fire pit. Was so fun.
The sales manager told me her sister owned a cute store. We popped in so cute and festive.
A socks store. Not just socks. Super cute. Different. Fun. Every style of fun socks and items.
Crepes Ala Cart
What’s better than a fire pit and crepes? Crepes ala cart was super cool. It’s on Main Street in Breckenridge. A little hut where you can see them making fresh crepes and a fire pit in the back. We tried the Nutella one and it was better than having s’mores near a fire pit.
Frothy Cup in Idaho Springs
What an awesome coffee shop in Idaho Springs. We stopped in this area last year on our way to our destination. You walk in and it smells like Christmas.

Be Grateful...Always
What an amazing life. Is it perfect....um no. But what a great opportunity to live. To experience life. To love. Learn from pain. See different parts of the world.
To meet people. To learn about different cultures. Try different foods. I realized what an amazing life I have. What a great family. What a great job. I experienced so much these last 3 months I am in awe. My life has been filled with experiences. One after another helping me grow.
Everything else is in life is an added bonus.

Breckenridge Colorado....You Stole My Heart
I am literally trapped in a scene of a Hallmark movie. All I need is a handsome man to run up to me with his dog and fall in love with me. But really my heart is so happy I can’t get over it. Breckenridge is absolutely beautiful.
I setup a hotel for a client’s client and the sales manager asked me to come visit and she gave me a junior suite so we stopped here before heading to Granby for a client annual planning meeting.
This place is amazing. I am in awe. There’s a huge shopping strip full of shops and restaurants and Christmas lights everywhere. Decorations. Christmas love is all around you. I can’t explain how amazing it is. We drove up and down the strip taking it all in. We walked to a couple of spots and will stop by again tomorrow.
