How Do You Start Your Mornings?
Mine started with meditation music and this book that a group of us decided to start to read. Ok ok so my friend is getting her wish of starting a book club...but really it’s a fun, easy, relaxing activity to do. Right? I wanted volleyball not available so next option was reading which I wanted to start to do again.

Bazille in Sono Collection
It was a group of us. Single and ready to enjoy Valentine’s Day together. Needless to say was an amazing night that started off with an awesome dinner at Bazille in Nordstrom in the Sono Mall in Norwalk.
A friend got the crab soup which was delicious. The steak was so good and came with an awesome kalamata olive spread. My friend’s drink came with pop rocks was so fun. We shared dessert- warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream topped with their salted caramel chocolate.
We had an awesome waiter too. Lots of laughs and great company with happy bellies.
I love the mall. We always walk through Nordstrom for a coffee. Stop by to check out this restaurant. So good.
Bixby’s Derby Taproom at Kartrite
What a great restaurant. It was in the resort. Our waiter was amazing and friendly. He even asked whose birthday is next and ironically my middle one in a couple weeks so he brought out a cupcake and sang.
I had the blue cheeseburger delicious. The girls loved their meals- pasta, grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, and of course truffle fries. They had portobello mushroom fries and delicious flat breads.
The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark
Back in October I won a night away here. I guessed an answer to a question on a radio show.
The kids had a couple of days off so it was the perfect opportunity to take them away.
It felt awesome to put on flip flops and walk around in a bathing suit and dress. The hotel is super clean. Beautiful inside. So much to do and see. The restaurants were really good. The arcade is huge and even has bowling and virtual reality games. There’s an obstacle course were you zip line and rocks walls
This place is no joke. We had an awesome time.
The water park is really fun. Has a lazy river. A spring water pool where you go outside yet so warm and steam is coming off.
They have huge tubes and smaller areas for younger kids. Very clean. Everyone is super friendly.
They even have bar and cabanas to rent.
Pina colada in one hand. Pool towels in another. Hair down and curling up and not caring. Was the perfect getaway.
It was less than two hours to get to. I saw 7 families I knew from Norwalk here. I would totally come back and recommend it. Perfect for kids ages 2-12.

Move On...
Listen to what people have to say to you. Over and over again we think people will change. I started to notice the less time I spent with someone the more I didn’t enjoy who they became. We would get together and I would see a side of them I never knew. It really bothered me. I was holding on to who they once were verse who they were today.
Don’t keep going back to the same situation. If it doesn’t add value to your life then let it go.

Do You Know Your Worth?
It took some time. Time to stop repeating patterns that didn’t add value to my life. Took some time to realize I didn’t deserve some treatments I received. Took some time to let go of toxic people and situations. Took some time to understand my worth.
Please please please...take the time for you to realize it too.
