Life Is Short, What Is Worth Holding On To?
I was listening to a podcast that Sam Harris was on. He was talking about his quest for spirituality. He mentioned losing a friend and his father in his younger years and that taught him that life was short. We are all here temporarily. We don’t know how much time we have here on Earth. What do we make of life? What is worth holding on to and paying attention to?

Fix Yourself That’s Your Responsibility
Projecting happens a lot. Most of the time people don’t even know what they are angry about. It’s your responsibility to heal you pain. Not pass it on to someone else. Healing takes time and is a process. Be sure to do that. Don’t pass it. Feel. Heal.

Have NO Regrets
Looking back we can all say we wish we did things differently but we didn’t know better in that moment. In the moment we did what we thought we had to do.
Once your life becomes calm. Not boring. Life is never boring. Calm means you’re content and happy. It means you reached a point where you say “I love my life” to yourself. When you reach that moment you realize everything you ever went through had to happen so you can reach that calm.
I wish that for you. I wish you reach that calm in your life. That’s happiness. Genuinely happy. Even the smallest thing make you smile and happy. I want that for you.
The Burrata at Shell & Bones in New Haven
How lucky am I that every week I get to select a new place to try and check out. Covid friendly of course. The warmer nights made eating outside with a heater enjoyable.
Pick wherever you like he always says. It’s sweet. He’s sweet. It’s a lot of fun. We laugh and chat for hours over a nice cozy meal. This week was Shell & Bones in New Haven.
I have been before during restaurant week last year and enjoyed inside near their fireplace but now with Covid we sat outside. It has a covered outdoor. We got lucky and had that whole area to ourselves. The mussels were amazing and his steak melted in my mouth but the burrata. That stood out. It was gorgeous. Over arugula, with fig and tomato with a balsamic drizzle. Beautiful presentation. We both enjoyed it so much.
Check it out if you can. https://www.shellandbones.com/
What restaurant should we check out next?

Chasing Holiday Lights in CT
When you can’t decide which lights to go to you end up going to them all!
Fantasy Lights New Haven
This put on by the Goodwill in New Haven. Spend the $2 and get the 3D glasses. Usually it’s $10 a car. They weren’t charging tonight. I have been going for a couple years now. It’s nice to go and see the different displays and give back to a cause.
That Holiday House Milford
Great display. On the corner of the road so you can not stay too long. Was on our way home so worth the stop.
Wonderland at Roseville Fairfield
This place is great. You used to be able to go around back too but due to Covid we didn’t walk up. You set the radio to 103.3 and listen to music while seeing house.
Dancing Lights Mark Dr Norwalk
This is by far my absolute favorite already been a couple times this month. Love it. Set radio to 92.9. So amazing! The lights dance to the music.
Krispy Kreme Holiday Donuts
My friend picked this up for us as a treat. So yummy and festive! The Santa is filled with chocolate. The white tree is filled with red velvet cream and the gift box is filled with cookie icing. Delicious and so fun!
Had to get her in a picture with my girls with their hats on. You can’t eat a Krispy Kreme donut without a special hat on.
