Breakfast On The Beach
I had to pop in someplace and when I got out of my car the sun and air felt like the sea breeze. I had some time to spare before logging into work and needed to feel grounded. I needed balance. So I snuck off to the beach, picked up breakfast and dug my feet into the sand and took it all in. Alone. Just me. The seagulls and sea.
It was brief but amazing.
After 13 Months...
After 13 months homeschooling has come to an end. Well mostly. My oldest school still has a hybrid model. Since I received the shot I figured they could return. There was tear shed. Mostly my youngest who never wanted to go back but then some from me because this last year has been nuts.
We had a lot of great days. Some hard days. But never bad days. Because for 13 months I had my girls with me everyday.
The level of appreciation they have for me is indescribable. But that’s parenting. Parenting is being there for your kids even on days when it’s too hard to parent you show up and make it work.
I will miss my coworkers but also made me realize how different life has been since Covid.
One day at a time. One day we will put this all past us.

Appreciate The True Friendships In Your Life
Nothing changes. You still respect each other. Honor your time and plans together. You still pickup where you left off. I love these types of friendships. These are the real people you need in your life. Anyone who can’t handle that isn’t what you need. Anyone who makes things weird or strange or uncomfortable aren’t your people. I had to learn that. Even at my current age. That some people are only temporary and you have to be ok with that.

As You Heal You Attract Peace
My life is very calm. Not boring. Calm. I like it...a lot. I have a great job. I have a great relationship with my family, kids and my boyfriend. I could stay this peaceful forever. Triggers will always come forth but it’s your job to not let it steal your peace.
I started to read a lot. I feel organized and at a good place mentally.

Fill Your Cup Or Jar
I love this jar. A friend of mine gave it to me years ago. I used to fill it with items whatever season it was. Now we fill it with memories of the year. On Jan 1st of the new year we read all the great events that took place up until that day and we get to reminisce about the memories we created together.
Filling our cup means something different. We fill our jar with happy memories. Things we can look back on and smile about. Laughs about. Cherish.
This morning I added some events to it. It’s great to add as we go.
It’s a lot of fun. I highly suggest you do it. Life is always so busy. We forget the fun we have. This helps remind us.
Are You Being Understood
Are you being understood. Trust me you will find someone who speaks your language.
I can’t communicate with some people. Image that? I am vocal. Don’t hold back. Process before reacting and I still have people in my life who I just can’t communicate with. I just can’t understand how they think.
Then I have people who understand me 100%. I can sit in silence with them and be at peace. My boyfriend brings this wave of calmness to me. We can discuss anything. Even if we don’t agree we still can discuss thinks so easily. It’s really amazing to me.
My best friend always understood me. That’s probably why we have been best friends for over 30 years.
It’s amazing because I always think is it me. But then I realize it’s them too. People bring out this side of you. They either jibe with you or don’t.
