Second Vaccine Shot
I am fully vaccinated 😊
The first shot I was very nauseous for a couple of weeks so I made sure to stay extra hydrated yesterday before I got my shot and so far so good. I do not even have a sore arm.

Sundaes By The Fire Pit
My boyfriend and his daughter slept over and this time we just let the kids hangout. We didn’t really plan anything and it worked out perfectly.
It was the first fire pit of the year and who doesn’t enjoy ice cream sundaes. I love nights like these. Where you just relax and the kids run around and there’s no pressure or time line or rushing around. It’s just kids being kids.

Would You Pick Someone Like You?
Ask yourself that question. Now answer it.
Would you date YOU? I thought about this two years ago. A relationship was ending and I thought was it me. Then I thought about this again last year. I made some needed changes. It really puts things into perspective.
We aren’t perfect. We never will be. Sorry to break that to you but we do owe it to ourselves to look within and make changes.
Would you date yourself is an easy question to ask because if you say no. Then make changes. You can’t attract your best if you’re not at your best too.
You won’t ever be perfect but when you’re at peace within you can give someone your best and attract what you deserve too.

Breakfast On The Beach
I had to pop in someplace and when I got out of my car the sun and air felt like the sea breeze. I had some time to spare before logging into work and needed to feel grounded. I needed balance. So I snuck off to the beach, picked up breakfast and dug my feet into the sand and took it all in. Alone. Just me. The seagulls and sea.
It was brief but amazing.
After 13 Months...
After 13 months homeschooling has come to an end. Well mostly. My oldest school still has a hybrid model. Since I received the shot I figured they could return. There was tear shed. Mostly my youngest who never wanted to go back but then some from me because this last year has been nuts.
We had a lot of great days. Some hard days. But never bad days. Because for 13 months I had my girls with me everyday.
The level of appreciation they have for me is indescribable. But that’s parenting. Parenting is being there for your kids even on days when it’s too hard to parent you show up and make it work.
I will miss my coworkers but also made me realize how different life has been since Covid.
One day at a time. One day we will put this all past us.

Appreciate The True Friendships In Your Life
Nothing changes. You still respect each other. Honor your time and plans together. You still pickup where you left off. I love these types of friendships. These are the real people you need in your life. Anyone who can’t handle that isn’t what you need. Anyone who makes things weird or strange or uncomfortable aren’t your people. I had to learn that. Even at my current age. That some people are only temporary and you have to be ok with that.

As You Heal You Attract Peace
My life is very calm. Not boring. Calm. I like it...a lot. I have a great job. I have a great relationship with my family, kids and my boyfriend. I could stay this peaceful forever. Triggers will always come forth but it’s your job to not let it steal your peace.
I started to read a lot. I feel organized and at a good place mentally.
