Our Vermont Adventures…ATVs and Mountain Coasters
Atvs, mountain coasters…our trip was awesome. I love Vermont. This time we went to Killington. Was my first time in this town. At this age it’s not easy finding things to do we haven’t done but we got to experience two things together for the first time. Atvs in the mountains and a mountain coaster.
The atvs were so much fun. I drove it at the bottom of the mountain. My boyfriend took over during the tour. We were driving along the cliffs of these mountains. I felt like a kid again.
The beast mountain coaster ride is like a rollercoaster ride but you have complete control with how fast you go. Down is fast. Up is slow. You are going around these curves and the faster the better because if you slowed down too much you freaked yourself out.

Slate Cheese Board
I love this cheese board. It actually stays cool. I saw it at a restaurant in Vermont. They served our charcuterie board on it. So when we stopped by the Vermont Country store and saw it I had to buy it. Awesome
Price too. Was perfect last night at dinner serving our fun finds in Vermont on it.
The Foundry at Summit Pound Killington Vermont
Our first night we walked over to the Foundry Restaurant right near our lodge. It was beautiful. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly.
It was the perfect way to start our trip.
At night it lights up and is so pretty.
Very romantic too.

One Day…12 Months Ago
I met a guy who brought me 12 months of love, laughs and fun adventures.
It wasn’t what I was looking for at the time. I was going to stop dating completely. I stopped seeing someone who was in and out of my life for 2 years. Then I met him. I thought he would just be someone to amuse me. I just went with it and it was the best decision ever.
Sometimes the best things in life are those that are unplanned. Spontaneous. Just go with it. I look forward to 12 plus months of adventures with this guy.

Oven S’mores
The other night the weather wasn’t good but I wanted to make s’mores with the kids and what better way then to roast them in the oven.
Just line them up and broil for 2 mins in the oven.

It’s Ok To Feel…
We are all entitled to feel a certain way. The next step is what are you going to do with that emotion?
That’s where the problem is in our reaction to that emotion. How are you handling the way you feel?

About last night….
This place is so much fun!! My parents went and loved it so last night my mom took my sisters and I to try it. It’s a really fun concept.
You get a bib and plastic gloves. You know it’s going to be delicious when they serve that at a restaurant.
Be prepared to get down and dirty.
You pick the broth the food comes out it. They boil the bag and pour it into a big bowl.
We had shrimp and crawfish and king crab legs. We got lobster rolls, hush puppies and crab cakes.
We went to town.
The king crab was delicious and the shrimp
too. The corn is so tasty, and crunchy yet it absorbs all the juice. The potatoes are amazing too.
They even have this little robot that helps bring the food to your table.
I felt like we were away in South Carolina. Everyone was so friendly and the food was delicious.
Their happy hour prices are until 6:30 pm. So you get great deals on wine and specialty drinks and food.

Blankets For Brady’s Smile- Children In Hospitals
I love this. We joined the NCL- National Charity League in Norwalk and the girls completed their first project. Blankets for children in the hospital through the non-profit organization: Brady’s Smile.
It’s our first year doing this chapter. It’s actually the first time they had one in Norwalk. I always felt volunteering wasn’t for others it’s for yourself. To give your time to give back to your community so when the President of the Norwalk Chapter asked if we would join I was so excited. I wanted my daughter to understand the importance of helping others. This was our first assignment and I loved it so much that they asked us if anyone would make more so I volunteered for us to create more this weekend.
When was the last time you gave your time to do some good. To give back? It’s so important and doesn’t need to be shared or told to others to feel good. It just feels good within without anyone else’s approval or knowledge.
