Killington Adventure Park in Vermont

 Killington Adventure Park in Vermont was absolutely amazing! Our day pass here included unlimited rides on the Beast Mountain Coaster, K-1 Gondola, Zip Line Racer, Skye Ropes Course, Woodward WreckTangle, Soaring Eagle, Trampoline Jump and Amaze'n Maze access. The kids even hiked to the top of the mountain with my boyfriend.

The girls had so much fun and we spent the whole day there. It’s so adventurous and I am so glad they got to experience it with us.

What’s For Breakfast? Fancy Up Your Cereal

I have been on a new kick. Life cereal mixed with gluten free plain Cheerios and topped with cut strawberries and bananas. 

I don’t know what it is about this combo but it’s my go to. I sometimes have it for dinner. The combo with ice cold milk makes my palate super happy.

They crack me up. It’s work. Don’t get me wrong. They have three different, strong personalities but when we get together I like to just observe them. Watch how they interact with one another. How they eat. What they choose to eat. It’s amazing the journey of parenthood.

Carmela’s On the Extension in Middletown

What I love about this area is that it’s new for us both so when we want to eat someplace it’s a new experience. I usually google best breakfast or whatever cuisine we are craving. This morning we decided to try Carmela’s On the Extension and it was delicious. 

Adorable country feel to it. We felt like we were on vacation. Very country inside too and the food and staff were great.

The Tradition Continues…Breakfast in Bed

It all began when my youngest was three. She wanted breakfast in bed. On her birthday. Every year. She always asked.  Her request repeated and I continued to do it. 

Then her sisters were born and they joined in too. 

So now every year. For everyone’s birthday. Everyone gets to enjoy breakfast in bed. They pick the day and the meal. 

For years I used whatever random serving trays I had. This year I finally said trays for all. It makes it easier and special. 

Our tradition grew and now my boyfriend and his daughter get to join in on the fun. 

It’s always easiest when the kids request food out.  I do try to add extra loving to the tray. And we always have to stick a candle in and sing. 

A tradition so small yet so rewarding. They remember it. They ask for it. They all get to enjoy it. It’s a treat for everyone.

We met her at the St.Ann’s festival and my little one asked if she came come to her birthday party.  Brilliant idea. 

The kids loved it and even the adults joined in on the fun. She painted 4 faces and three tattoos within the hour. Would definitely have her come back again.

Happy 7th…

Birthday to my youngest. The fashionista in the family. She’s a tough cookie. She can be super sensitive but doesn’t take no as an answer. She’s really funny and her fashion sense is well above mine. 

She is really independent and her eyes are stunning. She’s my youngest and it’s weird to say the number 7. 6 is so much younger to me. 

Wishing her a lifetime of not changing- only around me- but to really keep being who she is because for someone so small she’s got this super confidence that even adults never ever achieve.
