FRYBORG Hand Cut Fries Food Truck

Picture you're a little tipsy. You walk by and smell French fries. You make your way to the truck and see a list of loaded fries and then you see the "Italian". Fries with chopped tomatoes, pesto mayo and fresh parmigiana cheese. HEAVEN! I feel like I am now a food truck junkie.

My mouth is salvating writing this post. NO LIE amazing! Even their hamburger melted in your mouth. The fries I got were $8 and the burger was $7. My first stop next time I see them at the Harbor Brewfest. Amazing!

Tipsy Cones Ice Cream Truck: Boozed Ice Cream

It's the adult ice cream truck and their ice cream is delicious. The truck is super cute.  Delicious flavors of ice cream with booze in it! Brilliant! http://www.tipsycones.com

I tried their drunken french toast, my husband got their whiskey bean vanilla and our friends got the Mexican coffee one. Great flavors. Really creamy. Small $3.50 double scoop $6.00. Very clever idea. They have non booze flavors and they even have vegan selections to choose from.

Wealthy...It's Not Just About Money

Harbor Brewfest Review: Such An Awesome Event

Imagine over 100 beers to sample from and that's just a guess. The pictures don't do justice to how fun and big this event is. 12 food trucks to eat from and we Prob tried half of them. It was super awesome. You get a glass and most stops fill up the glass. By half way you begin to sip and dump because you want to be able to experience the rest. I am not a heavy drinker. I am a social drinker and I couldn't believe how many beers I tried. Now they also have spiked cider and spiked seltzer too.

When you check in you get a wrist band and glass. In line they check IDs.

They give you water bottles and a free snack- gold fish. People walk around with pretzel necklaces. I actually had pretzel rods in my purse.

All vendors on the field and food trucks line the outside of where vendors are on the baseball field. There are hundreds of people but you don't even realize it because there is so much room. No long lines. Beer Vendors have little samples to take like stickers, paper coasters, one had tattoes to put on.

Overall it was a super awesome time and looking forward to going again next year!

This was my favorite: Chocolate Pumpkin Beer by Evil Spirits.

*Stay tuned to my food truck reviews. Some awesome new ones I tried. Just to give you an idea: Empanadas, amazing loaded fries, bbq on top of Mac and cheese, kettle corn popcorn, spiked ice cream, pulled pork grilled cheese, and much more. Just wish they had more of a sweet treat to choose from because by the end I really needed a coffee and something with chocolate.

Fall's Foliage It's A Beautiful Thing

I was rushing around like I do every weekday morning.

Dropping off one kid at preschool to then drive across town and drop off another kid to elementary school.

I finally negotiated with my two year old and she finally sat down in a car seat after hoping around the car. As I went to put my car in reverse I caught this glimpse in my side view mirror. I paused and took it in.

Stop, breath and enjoy the nature around you!

Fall's Foliage is a beautiful thing!

East Haven CT:
This event is free to enter. They have some awesome food trucks that will be there. 203 Urgent Care has teamed up with MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) to put this event together:

Describe To Me About Your Mom...

I was walking with my daughter to my car after school. I always ask how her day was and what they did. She told me they had to describe people in their life. "Mom I had to describe how you were like." Oh geez, I thought, A million things went through my head. I mean I was pretty calm this morning before drop off but doesn't mean she would remember verse the other days I was a green monster getting them ready and out the door. Of course I was hesitant and I finally asked "Wow really what did you say?"

At that point I grabbed the door handle and opened it. I heard her say "My mom is a hard worker". I stopped in my tracks. "What did you say sweetie" "Mom I told my class my mom is a hard worker. Oh and you do all the cooking and cleaning too!" She said and laughed.

Hard worker! Me?! My little girl looked up to her mom,me, and thinks of me as being a hard worker. I mean she's right. I run a business. A household. Am raising three girls and take care of two dogs. I would say hard worker is a deserved titled BUT never imagined all this time she valued me and looked at me like I was.

Needless to say I am tearing up just writing about it!

Make The Best Of Your Situation

Have The Courage To Follow Your Heart & Intuition

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition." Steve Jobs

Thank You Universe!!!

I am on a thankful kick. I mentioned last week about having room to take on another client. Well tonight a client told me about a prospect who needs a Virtual Assistant. I then receive an email from a person who I used to work with looking for work and asked if I needed an assistant to help with stuff. Umm hello universe if I could kiss you I would.

So I am going to send out this vibe again... I have room for more clients and love what I do. I don't mean to be greedy but figure throwing it out there again since now I have a couple of workers schedules to fill up. If you need help with your business or marketing, event planning, social media marketing, administrative tasks then email me!

It's empowering when you show passion for something and watch it grow!

THANK YOU UNIVERSE! You Rock!

Thank You Readers!!!

I just wanted to say thank you to all my readers for taking the time to read my blog. A lot of you wake up early and read my blog or read it before bed or throughout the day and I just want to say I appreciate you and hope you enjoy my posts. Westport Restaurant Week October 2 – 16, 2016

Westport Restaurant week is here and it will last 2 weeks!  October 2 – 16, 2016
Their participating restaurants are pretty awesome. Check out who's participating here:

Pumpkin Picking At Jones Farm In Shelton

I took the girls pumpkin picking at Jones Farm this morning. We arrived right at 10 when it opened. The view is breath taking very zen. It was empty so we got to roam the place without any crowds. We did the hay ride which was $3.50 a person. Children 2 and under free. The tractor rides around the premises. There is a corn maze that my daughter and sister went through. The pumpkins are super cool. Price range from $1.50 to $30. We spent $12 on little pumpkins.

The have pigs and chickens on the property. Wood animals kids can sit on. They even have little houses the children play in. So entertaining. It was a super awesome morning.

Is It Time To Reconnect?

I reconnected with a friend over the weekend. It's probably been almost two years since we have spoken or seen eachother. I didn't have bad feelings towards her. We both just let our friendship fade away and didn't fight for it. At the time our lives were completely focused on two different things and directions.

It was nice to put that past us. It was nice to hang like old times.

Past couple weekends I have seen people from past experiences and it's nice to know there's no bad blood, nice to see how people are doing.

It makes you think that we are all connected and meet for a reason. We are all in someone's  life for a reason. Never close ties with anyone. And if you miss someone or want them in your life reach out.

She reached out to me and it was nice. I didn't say no. Have someone in your life you want to reconnect with? What's stopping you!

Holiday Count Down...

Not really sure if this is exciting or depressing! Regardless the holidays are coming...be prepared.

It's Never Too Late To Live Your Life

Every once in a while I read a story that sticks with me. This happens to be one: a story about a woman in her early 90's who is a widow decides to enjoy the last moments of her life verse doing treatments and goes on an adventure of a lifetime. Now if she were younger maybe she would have opted for treatment but regardless she took matters into her own hands and lived the last year enjoying her life. ENJOYING LIFE!

How many of us half her age aren't even really living the life we really want? Makes you think!
