Let’s Be Spontaneous
Lately if I had to pick one word to describe my life it would be....Spontaneous. And I must admit I am loving it.
Now I am a planner. I plan a lot of stuff and like structure so for me to be spontaneous throws me off. My day my plans and I have been having a great time.
My day is unpredictable. Most of ours are like that. Never know what the day would bring. What if you threw in some fun in your day? What if you did something out of your norm? How magical would that be?
My girlfriends love it. Love my stories. Love my responses. They crack up lately.
Spontaneous can be a “hey wanna go for a walk” “hey can you meet for lunch” “hey let’s get together tonight” “ hey can you meet tomorrow”
I never used to love Weekdays like I do now. I never take life for granted. I love life. You should too.

You Don’t Always Have To Be Ok
You don’t always have to be strong and happy and good. Especially...Men.
Oh men. You can be weak and sad or stressed. It’s ok. We don’t expect men to always hold back their feelings or not be overwhelmed. But it’s all in your approach.
I find it extremely sexy when men open up about their feelings and emotions. Sounds silly but it actually means they trust you. They feel comfortable with you to confide in you.
Men it’s ok to confide in someone and vent. We don’t expect you to take on the world without some emotions attached to it.
You Make Me Happy
When was the last time you were with someone and you walked away thinking wow they really make me happy?
That person...the one who makes you feel this way plays a very important role in your life.
They will help keep you young and enjoying life. Now it’s not just a partner or someone you date or see. It’s friends. It’s family. It’s your kids. It’s co workers. Anyone who makes you happy plays a very important role in your life. Be sure to be around them often. They will help you feel alive. They add years to your life.
This weekend I was around a lot of good feeling make me happy people. I must say I went to bed happy and woke up happy. How lucky am I and you to have simple things in our life...people who make us happy.
I ran into a friend at an event. This person is like a ray of sunshine always was always will be. I lite up when I saw them.
How amazing to know that you too make someone feel that way? That you can be someone’s ray of sunshine too. Yep. Life is pretty magical and so are you.
Let Go Of Your Insecurities
We all have insecurities. It’s normal. Even the prettiest or in best shape girl questions herself I said to a girlfriend. I had to call her and break it down. I had to tell her that a friend of mine I have been friends with since last summer I still get self conscious around. It’s normal. I bet he does too around me. It’s human. We all second guess stuff. We all wonder what the other person thinks and how they view us.
I remember the last guy I dated for like 5 months everyday we went home I wasn’t sure when I would see him again. Isn’t that crazy? Crazy to think of what if he doesn’t like me tomorrow. What if he doesn’t call. What if he realizes he doesn’t want to be with me anymore. And then he didn’t want to be with me anymore and guess what life goes on. So dumb I know to worry about things when things will just happen without our control anyway but it’s something that we all do. We are our own worse enemies.
Trust me they will call again. You will see them again. They think you’re beautiful and perfect or else they wouldn’t enjoy your company. Let the insecurities go. Trust me I have to work on it too. We are perfect the way we are. Embrace it. And if you’re not happy then make minor changes in you but for yourself. No one else. And if they don’t call again or want to see you again than it’s their lose. You’re amazing and perfect just the way you are. If they can’t see it then let them walk away.

you look nice” Why thank you! I replied. She then says “you look like a pretty prisoner with the stripes.”
And that my friend is what it’s like parenting a pre teen or any child for that matter.

3-Month Pass Sky Zone in Norwalk
Buy a 90 day pass for $49 per child for one hour of unlimited jumping. It cost me this per time we go to Sky Zone so when I brought the girls I had to get this pass. Perfect for exercising during the chilly weather or for days it rains. The cool thing is their Dad or anyone can bring them they just have to give their name at the register.
Awesome place for the kids and entertaining for the parents too.

DJ Mom...Or Not
I sang 99% of this song in the car with my girls when it came on the radio. Their reaction was priceless. I like to think I am a pretty cool, hip mom so when I shouted Dj. Mom my 10 year old replied you mean Dj. Embarrassing. I must say it was a good laugh and maybe to them I am not as cool as I think!
Dating Isn’t Easy
Dating isn’t easy. We all have in perfections. Flaws. “Baggage” It’s those who make you happy. Who teach you about life. Love you. Help you see what really matters. How life should be lived. Those people that’s your people.
Osteria Romana in Norwalk
What a great place. I haven’t been in a while. Was an awesome crowd. They have a pre-set dinner option but we decided to order off the menu. I ordered the eggplant rollitini and cavatelli with tartufo. Really good. Great service. After we went to Romannacci for cappuccinos and crepes. They even have biscottis.
Norwalk really has some amazing restaurants. This was a great one. Great company. Great night.

Breakfast For Two or Three or Four
Who says making breakfast has to be hard or expensive. I bought these items at Trader Joe’s over the weekend. Was perfect for breakfast. Eggs with gyro meat avocado topped with tzatziki and feta.
I love this gyro meat. You heat it in a pan. Package is $3.99. I also love Trader Joe’s tzatziki sauce. It’s great on salads,Chicken and gyro meat.

Feel To Heal To Let Go
Everything teaches us something. My hearts been at peace. My body and soul. My ex and I have been civil. It’s a rollercoaster ride and I don’t even participate in any arguments and he’s been trying his best too which benefits our kids. My kids are happy. My family is healthy and happy. My social life has been amazing. I don’t want to fight or be mad or be sad. I want to be at peace. I want to be happy. I want to create memories around good people. Your focus should be that too. To set your soul on fire. To laugh so much that your stomach hurts. To be around people who genuinely want to be around you and love you and make you smile and enjoy your company. People who want the best for you and you want the best for them.
Everyday of my life I try to do something that makes me happy. Even if it’s just a walk. You have to learn to do the same. I am not perfect. I make a lot of mistakes. I am learning how to work through them to change to not react because I am not getting what I want. To process. To feel. To know that people will come
in and out of your life and you have to not hold on to them hoping they can be something different for you. I had to accept loving someone I couldn’t be with. Yeah it hurts but it’s ok to love them from afar and move on with your life. I never had to experience this before. Ever. I am learning everyday new things about life. You have to learn to go with it too.
You have to go through a process of letting things go. I am.

What Relaxes You?
The second my feet hit the sand I became relaxed. There’s something about the beach. Ocean. Breeze. Sunset.

This Week’s Trader Joe’s Find: Plumcots
Part plum. Part apricot. Love when I find different stuff to try. Trader Joe’s always has different types of fruit and food. It’s really always my favorite grocery shopping store.
I couldn’t help myself but had to buy the $3.99 bouquet. Even though my other flowers are doing fine I just thought these were so cute.
Don’t ever deprive yourself of flowers. $3.99 for something that will make me smile for the next week, I’ll take it.
Slice of Saugatuck in Westport
So much fun!!! I love this festival. You get so many samples and large ones too. We got to even sample drinks and purchase ones to walk around with.
My favorite like last time was ... Kawa Ni. I am just a super fan of their tomatoe tofu pocket. It is by far my favorite thing ever.
We walked away stuffed and happy. Lots of laughs. Good vibes. Perfect weather.

Don’t Be Sad...Not Today
Be happy. Get up and do all the things that make your heart and soul feel good. Yeah we can get sad. Something triggered me. I missed someone. But I had to shift my brain. This person doesn’t need me in their life. And I don’t need to be sad anymore.
Everyday it’s a job to be happy. Well maybe not. I think it’s easy to be happy but we are so used to something changing that. That we shift easily to be mad and sad. Stop that! Stop that now.
I was speaking to a girlfriend. The next morning she said thank you for last night. You brought me back to life.
Last night I was out with a group of friends. They make me feel alive. It was so much fun we stayed out way past how late we should. We didn’t want our time together to end.
This morning I walked with my mom. We have been doing it a lot. It feels so good to start the day this way. Easy conversation. Encouraging eachother to get moving. To better ourselves.
Today I have a day filled with another group of friends to have fun. Be together. They help me feel alive. They make my soul happy.
So yeah I can stay home and be sad. Or miss someone who probably doesn’t even know I miss them or I can go on with my life. I think I will go on with my life. Move on with your life to. I want you to be happy. I will be happy today. That’s today’s goal and everyday.
Make it your goal too.
Trust It...All Of It
Ask anyone. They lack something in life. It’s normal. No one can say “nope my life is perfect” BUT you can say it’s 90% there and well I’ll take it. Anything under 90% needs work.
I was with someone for twenty years of my life. I went from my parents to college to moving in with my ex. Yeah we had great times. Raised three kids and well then the 90% dropped. Every time it dropped I became a little stronger to walk away.
Today I am probably the happiest I have ever been. Why because it’s new. It’s exciting. I am single. Life is what I want it to be. I started to embrace my journey. Wanna walk go for a walk. Want to stay home then stay home. Want to travel then go travel. Keep in mind this mindset is for when I don’t have my girls. When I do have my kids I am 100% Mom. It’s about them. But the other time it’s me. What I want. What I need.
I kind of like this life. I am sorry I mean LOVE this life and you should too.
So let’s talk about this universe things. You know the law of attraction. The waking up. Work hard. Be good. Be kind. Love. Be happy. Attract positive everyday.
It’s been an abundance lately. Maybe I am simple. Maybe not. Maybe waking up and going to bed 90% happy has helped me.
I landed a small new client. I got called to two focus groups. One I got paid to leave since it was full and they didn’t need me anymore. I have amazing family and friends in my life. I have something fun and exciting happening all the time. I am living a life for me. What makes me happy.
We need happy people in the world. Are you happy? You need to be happy. So yeah maybe that 10% will come. Maybe it won’t. But damn this life. This life is good.
Can it change. Maybe. But I am not worried about it. And I don’t want you to worry about it either. I want you to be happy. I want you to enjoy 90% of your life. Please do it for you. For me. For your kids. For your family. For the universe.
The universe needs happy people. Attract and receive. Trust me.
Snacks Are Key
Just check my purse. I am sure you will find a protein bar or goldfish or cliff bar. Snacks are the way to go. Car rides. School pick up. Even on way to school.
Did you eat? Are you hungry? Do you need a snack?
That is why Costco comes in handy. Bulk shopping. When in doubt just hand out a snack.
