Boom Thai In Norwalk
I was craving something refreshing. I won’t lie. I order these two same items every time I have Thai food. The summer rolls are stuffed with raw veggies and basil leaves with shrimp. They are huge. They serve them with a peanut dipping sauce. I love it. It’s so refreshing and filling. Low calorie. The hint of basil with veggies remind me of summer.
I always order the chicken satay. Thai satay is served with a cucumber relish and peanut sauce. A lot of places only serve it with peanut butter sauce. The cucumber relish is my favorite. It’s refreshing. These satay have a bit of a curry taste to it due to the coconut milk but it’s delicious!
Kids love the sticky rice. If you’re ordering for kids order that.
If you’re feeling like something tasty and refreshing these two items are it. They have noodles and pad Thai too but I always order these. Perfect items for a Friday night in.
Create Your Own Gummy Bento Box For Kids
I saw these at Ohho in Coral Gables while I was in Miami. My kid’s love watching this type of stuff on YouTube. Where kids test out products and make their own gummies.
My middle one was on point making them.
My youngest didn’t have much success and my oldest broccoli was pretty cool. They pour water. Add the mix in the food mold and it turns into a gummy in the shape of the mold. This was a rice ball with a panda face. Sausage. Broccoli. Egg roll. Chicken nugget and aMd Lomein. Was a lot of fun to make and gummies tasted good too. It’s a fun activity to do with your kids.
If You Want A Change Start With Yourself
I needed to make a change. Life has been good but I needed a new hobby. A healthy one. Eating is an emotional experience I love to share with people but I needed something that wasn’t eating so I picked the opposite. Working out. So I joined. Actually rejoined the gym.
New beginnings can happen every single day. You gotta just do it.
Do something today to restart your life. A healthy happy new start. If I can do it, so can you!
Affirm...Love You
For those who don’t support you or mock you or have no good intentions they do not have a place in your life or heart. People will talk. So be it. When you love yourself and decisions you make then none of that matters. You’re untouchable.
When you fully love yourself you create a power within that no one can destroy. 💗

Ohho in Coral Gables
This place is delicious. From the outside it looks like a normal place. Inside is super trendy and the food was amazing. We have a team lunch here while I was in Miami.
We ordered the pork sticky buns which tasted like pulled pork inside was warm and so delicious. Then I ordered the short rib ramen. Omg. The portion was huge. This is a comfort food for sure. The broth was delicious. The noodles were so tasty. I loved every minute of it.
It was a coworkers birthday so we had them bring out dessert. Their Shibuya Honey Toast. Holy cow was this delicious. Outside shell is crunchy. Inside reminds me of a panettone or angel food or bread budding. Regardless it’s delicious and such an experience.
This place is delicious.
Brickell Ave Miami
I never realized how much of a city girl I am until I am in a city. We took a ride through Brickell Ave in Miami before heading to the airport. I was in heaven. It’s their financial district.
Huge tall gorgeous building. Restaurants. Stores. More and more tall gorgeous buildings. It’s huge. Building after building. Then from the corner you see the ocean and the Palm Trees. It’s super clean. Big company names everywhere. A must see.
My pictures don’t do justice.
Where the Miami Heat Plays.
Multi color buildings.
Apparently everyone is falling in love with the area too. Check out this article.

Focusing on Core Values...Do You Love What You Do?
It’s been a long three days but also filled with laughs and great bonding. A team of four of us got together to put some procedures in place. Long days. But awesome time together. They all live in Miami except me so made sense for me to make the trip down. Which I gladly will do again.
This one client of mine has been my client for over 10 years. We recently added an assistant to the team and as the practice keeps growing we are starting to realize one thing. We need to keep our team dynamics the same.
Currently all our core values are aligned. We genuinely care about this company. Our leader. Our brand. It’s really important. It’s almost a family dynamic.
We care so much that when looking to hire a company to help promote his book the “mommy bear” instinct in me came out. I questioned her proposal, fees and expected results. My client took it back to her to clarify before making a decision.
When I mentioned family and friends who have worked crazy hours in the financial industry my client turned to me and said like you. You’re always on call for me. He was right. When you support entrepreneurs there’s no 9-5. It’s being available when they need your support and doing it because you enjoy what you do. It’s taking the lead and making sure everything is lining up. It’s definitely not a boring job. Everyday is something new.
I really love being a part of this team and look forward to growing with them as they grow.
You can’t do what you do and not love it. Life isn’t ok with that. You must find your calling. Things you enjoy and put all your effort into it and your best work. I hope you too go to work every day saying I love what I do.
Chocolate Bars That Say It All: Moodibars
I am sitting at the airport and take a walk. I buy a water bottle and find these cute chocolate bars at the store.
I was cracking up!! I purchased those three for my girls but wish I could buy the whole series. So of course I look up the website and they have a ton of different times. So creative and clever!!
Peruvian Food at It’s Best
When someone asks if you like a type of food always be willing to go and try it. That’s my philosophy in life. I once took a friend to Indian food after he insisted over and over he isn’t a fan of it. Guess what. He liked it.
So when my coworker asked if I liked Peruvian food I automatically said yes let’s go.
No regrets! It was amazing.
I had him order my dishes. I wanted to get the right experiences. Be sure to always do that too. When someone takes you to a new place to try have them order for you. They usually pick the specialty items.
So it started off with ceviche. I usually had it with shrimp never a white fish. It was delicious. He then ordered Papa a la HuancaÃna which is their yellow potatoes with chicken salad. You think the potatoes will be warm but it’s chilled and soft.
Then my main dish was delicious.
Tacu Tacu a lo pobre. Which is skirt steak with plantains and a rice bean mixture that is refried topped with an egg. Comfort food to the max.
For dessert Picaones. Which is
their traditional donuts . Sweet potatoes and pumpkin. They were so light. Not greasy at all. Served with a dipping glaze.Amazing!
Food is about experience. Feelings. Culture. It’s so many things than just eating because you’re hungry.
Argentinian Empanadas from Patagonian Bakery
Do you want to pick out lunch or shall I surprise everyone?
The best answer we could pick was surprise us.
He came back with two dozen Argentinian empanadas. Chicken. Beef. Chorizo. Cheese. Ham. That was only a selection of what the bakery had to offer.
Now I love empanadas. I have tried Columbian. Cuban. Indian. Venezuelan. So when he came with Argentinian I was very excited to taste test them.
The dough is like a light bread. Not heavy. The chicken was my favorite. Shredded and flavorful. The cheese is like a dessert one. The beef is like a stew inside. It was my second favorite. They have this bakery all over South Florida
Happiness Is A Choice

Cuban Food...How I Love Thee
Cheese. Guava. Guava with cheese. That was just some of the assortments we started our morning session with. My client’s wife is Cuban and she had these waiting for us when we arrived for our meeting.
I can’t begin to describe how delicious and flaky they were.
We then ended our night with an authentic Cuban meal she made us. Picadillo.
It was a ground beef with olives and raisins served over rice with plantains and Cuban sweet bread with butter.
Delicious and comforting. I must admit I haven’t had Cuban food like this before.
Good Morning From Miami
Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener....
My first day I said. We are moving here. My team thought it would be a great idea. Especially that three of them live in Miami. Imagine waking up to palm trees everyday? You can’t be mad. It’s amazing.
I must admit it’s gorgeous but I do love the season changes. I got lucky and weather is perfect but once humidity sets in not sure I could handle it if I lived here. Must admit. The thought crossed my mind. My kids wouldn’t mind beaches year round. Shorts and bathing suits. But Christmas with palm trees doesn’t set well for me.
For now I will just enjoy the view.

Welcome To Miami...
I have nothing but love for Miami! 💛
Miami is gorgeous. I was here for work this week and I must say it’s amazing. The beaches. City life. Art. Food. I am in total love. Like planning a trip back type of love.
My favorite spot and we are working a ton so can’t sight see a lot but from what I have seen I will say Wydwood is by far good for my soul!
The art. The food. The people. The music. Everything about this area makes my heart happy.
Usually when we see a street full of graffiti we don’t think it’s the place to be. Well here in Miami
Wydwood Wall is amazing. The market place has food trucks and vendors and art. It’s incredible.

Do You Have Your Face On?
I was getting ready early for another business trip and pulled out my makeup and looked down. There are days I don’t put “my face” on. But it made me think about what we go through to have beauty. To cover some wrinkles or tiredness in our face. Maybe we don’t need to always “put our face on” maybe we should keep things in our life simple and pure.
After all we are teaching our kids early on to look different than what we are suppose to look like. That with beauty comes pain. Kind of awful when you think about it.
Maybe we put our face on for ourselves. To add a little color or life to us. Maybe we shouldn’t aim to do it for others. It’s ok to not always have “your face on”. Smiling sometimes should just be enough.
We All Go Through Stuff In Life
I don’t care if you’re rich or poor or skinny or overweight or what your age is or nationality or religion... we all go through things in life. Some things are bigger than others but we all have had pain or doubt or been in our heads a little too much.
Our journey is our journey. We learn along the way. People may come along and make it harder for
us or easier. Choose the easier route.
Choose to help other along the way even when you have your own doubt and pain and issues.

Home of the Hamburger
A friend once told me about this place. I never saw it and then the other night I was walking by with a girlfriend and I said how cute is this place and she says it’s the home of the hamburger. We already had dinner so we didn’t stop in but it smelled delicious and if you’re into history and burgers then this is your place.
The home of the hamburger in New Haven, CT.
