The Key To Being Happy
Do this. Let go. Let go of everything that no longer serves you. That anything that reopens wounds and hurts you. Let go. You’ve come too far to settle for less. You’ve come too far to let anyone steal your happiness.
Repeat behavior repeat pain. When will you look in the mirror and realize you’re much better than any of this.
You have the power to not take crap from anyone. You have the power to own your life. You don’t owe anyone anything...

Feel Good Song: Lover of The Light
Love this song so much. Really got me through the last year ❤️ their whole album is amazing!
Trust The Process...Be Happy Right Now
I was impatient. I won’t lie. I wanted what I wanted and I didn’t want to wait it out. I wanted to know how life will be and I wanted it my way. It doesn’t always work that way.
You have to trust the process and live in the now. If you’re not happy make changes. Slowly...
Save money and move out. Change careers. End relationships that are stale are don’t make your heart happy. Do a lifestyle change. Whatever it is. Take the steps. Gradually not dramatic. Slowly adjust to changes.
In the end it is worth it. You and I and us and we all deserve to be loved and love and be happy and enjoy life.

Creating Habits
Why do New Years Resolutions fail? Because they are extreme. What if instead you did things gradually. Baby steps.
When you do this it’s not as extreme and you will actually continue doing it when you gradually adjust.
What Makes You Happy?
Life is so short. Be happy today. In this moment. Love. Laugh so much your tummy hurts. Make people feel special and happy and wanted. Trust me it makes your whole day better. I know it makes mine. 💗
Memories Are Where You Leave Them
I try to start my day at the gym. It’s like the healthiest and cheapest therapy. I love it. It’s not just about releasing stress or being skinny no it’s about connecting with yourself. I blast my music and get lost in my thoughts.
So the year of healing is about unburying deep wounds. Bringing them to the surface and then dealing with them. Owning your part but healing. Forgiving. Repeat behavior makes forgiveness hard.
This song comes on in the middle of my workout. A ton of emotions and memories rush over me. Not good ones. Painful ones. My whole moods changes. I should change the song BUT I don’t. I feel the emotions. All of them. I even replay the song because I want the wound to heal. I want it to not resurface again. I won’t lie it sucked. I was at the gym too not even at home where I could feel. I was in the middle of my workout. My heart rate changed. I got hot. My whole body tensed. But I allow the process to happen and didn’t distract myself to ignore it.
We are all wounded and need healing. Repeat behavior will never heal the wound. It’s like picking at a scab. It will get harder and harder to heal.
I had to face some truths today. I had to feel.
You have the power to take control over your life. This is your life. No one has the right to hurt you or prevent you from healing. But do yourself a favor. Don’t bury it.

Trust The Process
Nothing stays the same. Believe it will be better than a year ago or a before that. That the process is happening the way it should. That the best is yet to come.
It’s A Learning Process
What we needed twenty years ago is different than what we need now. Everyone changes. If you don’t grow with your companion it causes problems. What I found attractive in a person in the past isn’t what I need now. We all evolve. We all look for different things in life.
Learning what you really need is a good lesson. Learn what you need and want in another person. Make a list. Don’t settle.
Protect Your Emotional Health...Always
I just didn’t want to feel the same way anymore. After years and years of the same run around I had to say to myself you’re fighting for peace-yet again. It’s so very silly. It truly is. I don’t have to give this person power or the situation control over how I feel.
My fight will soon come to an end and I realized that I have to just go through process yet it didn’t have to get the best of me. To leave it up to others to handle. That what’s meant to be will be.
You have to learn some things won’t change and some people won’t ever change and you have to understand that’s ok. You don’t have to be upset about it just don’t let it consume you or be a part of your life.
