What’s There To Be Sad About?
A lot of times when we aren’t happy or we are hurt by something we tend to overlook the good around us. Pain is overpowering. Yet it makes you focus on the wrong things.
I had to stop myself.
Let go of things that aren’t acknowledging or supporting my best self! Be happy, always.

Retail Therapy...Best Ever!
I am going shopping was the worst thing I said. I should of known better. Before I knew it I was buying stuff I didn’t even need. But I must say I did get one thing that will make every morning better!
Sometimes all it takes is a night out. A shopping experience and great conversation before bed full of laughs to make any Monday night great!
Take It One Day At A Time...
Stop rushing it...weekends, love, happiness, success. Let go and trust the process.

Happy Palm Sunday
I love Palm Sunday. When I was younger we would go to church, stop by my great aunts and then all be together at my grandparents. Now every year I bring a Palm cross to the cemetery for my grandparents. My children asked me why I do it and I said because Palm Sunday always reminded me of them so since they passed I make it a tradition to bring them palms.
Now we all gather at my aunts house to celebrate Palm Sunday. There’s something about getting together as a family. I am always grateful for them. They are really amazing and the love and laughs make every time we get together special. Cousins feel more like brothers and sisters. The love our aunts and uncles have for eachother is remarkable. They have always been great role models to what a marriage should be like. They treat my children like there own.
Families should always make an effort to love one another. To be close and guide eachother. They have taught me a lot. Always are making sure I am happy and cared for. They always are a phone call away if I ever needed them. That’s real love and special.

Laurie Berkner Show
When I saw she was coming to Norwalk I called my oldest while she was with her dad and asked if she would like to go. She said of course! We listened to Laurie Berkner when my oldest was a toddler. All the memories hit me. We kept smiling at one another at the show and singing and dancing. My two youngest weren’t as familiar with her music but still jumped around and sang.
There’s something empowering about taking three kids out solo and they having a respect for you to behave and be good. I must say no one wants to parent solo but my journey alone with them has been pretty rewarding. Happiness should always be the main goal. Solo. Together. Whatever.
Grateful for my three girls.
Those Rare Special Moments
That connection...there’s just something about it that makes you happy to be around someone. Where you can be yourself and not worry about being judged. Where hanging for hours feels like minutes. When you don’t want the night to end because you’re so happy in the moment. That real...deep connection. That’s not something you can have with just anyone. Those moments...those people...you hold on to them.
The Haus Old Fashioned In Bridgeport CT
I have been wanting to check this place out. I finally got to and it’s so pretty inside. I ordered the Haus Old Fashioned. They light rosemary on fire, cover it with a plate. Then mix your drink in it.
It was too late at night to eat so we just got drinks but I would love to go back for dinner and hang. Great atmosphere.

Reprogram Your Mind
I started to realize I was repeating some behavior from my past. How I reacted to situations. When I wasn’t being heard or triggered I would respond like I have done in the past with my previous relationship. The old brain didn’t cause good results so why would I assume they will cause good ones now? I had to reprogram myself to stop myself and say no that’s not how you want to react. When I became defensive I would be mean and I by all means I don’t want to be a mean person. I want a flow of happiness and peace. Yet, I reacted like my old self/ old brain.
They always say don’t bring the same fears, beliefs, habits of old relationships into a new one. Each situation is unique yet I started to repeat patterns. So I decided today to put it to an end. No more old habits, defensive ways. Every person and situation is new. A clean slate. It’s time to reprogram yourself to create the life you do want and who you really want to be
I saw this article that was helpful.

Milk Craft Churro Cone
You can’t go to Fairfield and NOT stop in Milkcraft. Perfect for any sugar fix. The salted caramel is my favorite topped with kettle popcorn. Add a churro cone and you just created something magical.

Trust Your Path...
I kept finding dimes and seeing 222. I know these signs may be nothing but when your journey is off it’s nice to get signs that remind you everything is going to be ok and the way they should be. Don’t ignore your intuition or signs. Follow your path!

Enjoy Your Own Company
I started walking a lot lately. Something about the vitamin D and sunshine hitting the body helps clear the mind.
I liked doing this solo. I put my headset on and just let my thoughts melt away. It’s good to connect with yourself. To be your best fan. When was the last time you took time for yourself. Alone. Your own thoughts and goals? Try it sometime it’s not lonely. It’s actually great for you.
Now That’s A BEC...Joey B’s
I have been craving a bacon, egg and cheese for a while now. At first I didn’t realize this was a diner and have seen it a couple of times. Today I saw people walking in and decided to give it a try. I had a couple of hours to kill and decided to grab breakfast solo. I must say it was totally delicious! I sat outside with my headset on. The menu is really filled with great items. It was a great way to start my Sunday.

Basso Cafe In Norwalk
I crashed my parents date night and I have no regrets at all. They have been coming here a lot and I finally got to taste what all the fuss was about. It’s a really pretty place. The staff is extremely friendly. The food was delicious and everything tastes homemade. The burrata was over a passion fruit glaze topped with balsamic. The arepa were my favorite. Filled with chicken salad. The best arepa- light not too thick just perfect. I had the skirt steak for dinner. So tender and delicious. My dad had spaghetti with Vongole- clams- he loved it. Dessert we had their lemon dessert special. It was so pretty and so good!! This place has been around for a while and I always drive by thinking I need to try it. Glad I did. I would totally go back plus the company was great too!
