Be Grateful...Always
What an amazing life. Is it perfect....um no. But what a great opportunity to live. To experience life. To love. Learn from pain. See different parts of the world.
To meet people. To learn about different cultures. Try different foods. I realized what an amazing life I have. What a great family. What a great job. I experienced so much these last 3 months I am in awe. My life has been filled with experiences. One after another helping me grow.
Everything else is in life is an added bonus.

Breckenridge Colorado....You Stole My Heart
I am literally trapped in a scene of a Hallmark movie. All I need is a handsome man to run up to me with his dog and fall in love with me. But really my heart is so happy I can’t get over it. Breckenridge is absolutely beautiful.
I setup a hotel for a client’s client and the sales manager asked me to come visit and she gave me a junior suite so we stopped here before heading to Granby for a client annual planning meeting.
This place is amazing. I am in awe. There’s a huge shopping strip full of shops and restaurants and Christmas lights everywhere. Decorations. Christmas love is all around you. I can’t explain how amazing it is. We drove up and down the strip taking it all in. We walked to a couple of spots and will stop by again tomorrow.

Last Trip of 2019...Colorado Bound
I have been to six airports this year. I must say I was super impressed with LaGuardia airport. They are redoing it and our gate was in a new terminal. It was gorgeous.
Every time my sister travels with us she makes us her famous chicken salad sandwiches with cape cod bbq chips and carrots. It’s amazing and delicious and perfect for traveling.
We boarded our flight by 6:45 am so luckily we missed any delays but had to get our plane deiced. Was the last business trip of the year. My sister and her friend came along to have some fun while I work. So far it’s perfect and easy. Grateful for these adventures. Grateful for my year of traveling. Excited to see where 2020 takes me.
What Are You Holding On To? Stop Repeated Behaviors
Not because you want to. Maybe because you have to. Because it’s not what you need or didn’t turn out the way you hoped or wanted to even deserved. We think things will change and then don’t. So you repeat some drama or fights or behavior until you say to yourself what on earth are you doing. Why are you doing this again. So stop. Stop the repeated behaviors.
It’s Ok To Change Things
It’s ok to apologize. It’s ok to change your life. It’s ok to want things and go after what you want and need. It’s ok to not accept no as an answer. It’s ok to not settle. ❤️

Of course situations hurt or sting but when you love yourself you agree you deserve better and well you do. ❤️

Live in the Present
This actual moment is what should matter the most to you. Not the past. Not the future. This real time moment.
We tend to act based on past issues or feelings. If we were in a current, present, moment. Things would be much more different. We would act and react differently. This current. Present moment. Is your life.
What Melts Your Heart?
We all agree when men are with their kids and are good dads it’s extremely attractive. I was with a friend and he said he was going to drop off ornaments he made over weekend with his daughter and her friend. I swear my heart just melted. I couldn’t believe it. Sounds silly but how many men do crafts with their kids? Normally it’s moms. He laughed but I said that was absolutely adorable.
One thing my ex was great at was decorating for holidays or taking kids to see lights. I always loved when men let their kid out in them too. Not acted like a kid there’s a difference. Let’s give men credit when credit is due. Let’s also know that men in our lives can do little things that melt our hearts even if it’s not something they are doing for us. Be sure to compliment them. Who doesn’t appreciate a good compliment? What melts your heart?
Choose Happiness...Choose You
I wish 2020 brings you everything 2019 didn’t I said to someone today.
Think about it. What didn’t you get. What did 2019 teach you? What situations did you learn from. I will tell you I wouldn’t repeat this year. I learned. I grew. I experienced but I know better now. I know what’s for me and what’s not. I learned being alone is always a lot better than settling. I learned a lot of people don’t believe pure love and happiness is real and that makes me sad. That people think all good things have to come to an end when they don’t. What has to happen is decisions have to be made. When you want something in life you have to give up something for it.
Choose happiness. Choose you. Everything else is a bonus.

Your Happiness Depends On You
It’s hard at times. We can blame others or situations but it’s up to you. Turn it around.
If It’s Meant For You
If it’s meant for you it will be yours. Simple. Easy. Not complicated. Not hurtful or painful. Just simple, fun, easy, happiness.
Life isn’t meant to be so complicated. Yes it has ups and downs but being with someone, sharing a life with them, should not be work or painful or misery or sadness. It shouldn’t make you on edge or not feel enough. It’s suppose to compliment and enrich your life.
Taco Daddy in Stamford CT
I never heard of this place so I love trying new places. When a friend suggested we eat here I was all for it. I didn’t expect it to be this nice inside. It’s in the Fairway plaza. Huge inside. It’s decorated really nice for the holidays. Had darts and other fun games in an area with a DJ and dance floor.
The bar area is separated from the dining area which is fun for a different type of vibe. The chopped salad was really refreshing. Apples, peppers, celery served with grilled chicken. The staff were really friendly. They sort of messed up on my drink and brought over another one really fast on the house. Their tacos are small but filled and filling. I tried the mushroom and cod. Both really tasty.
I love trying new places and love spacious venues. I especially loved it wasn’t planned and just a “hey wanna try this place”. Of course I do!
My favorite part was the hallway to the restrooms filled with art. Very hip.
Not Getting What You Want...Be Ok With It
“Not getting what we want, when we want it, is one of life’s hardest lessons to learn.”
I saw this quote in an article I came across and it’s sad but true. Good situations teach us things but the true lessons come from the hurtful situations.
It’s going to teach you things. Be patient. You will one day find out why. You always do.
Solutions Not Problems
At any moment in time you can fight to not accept things for what they are. You can try to change it but if it doesn’t work acting ok isn’t going to fix it. Some things you can’t change. You can change how you will handle it. Sometimes letting it go helps you forget and move on.
History doesn’t change. What’s done is done. You have the power to move forward. What you can change is how you handle things in the future.

Insomnia Cookies
So what’s the big deal about these...they deliver you cookies until 3:00 am. The history is really cool. Started out in a guy’s dorm room. Really clever. So I have been seeing this place every time I went to New Haven and finally gave it a try.
You walk in and it smells amazing. The price isn’t bad at all. 3 cookies for $5.26 or 6 for $9.99. They are warm and gooey and delicious.
