Always Look At The Bright Side Of Things

Everything is an experience. Nothing is a waste of time. I had a guy I dated who never tried Indian food. He built up the courage and we went to an Indian restaurant and he actually enjoyed the meal I ordered for us.

I love trying new places. It’s great meeting people in different towns and checking out some of their favorite restaurants. I love being able to share my experiences with my family and friends and well you all.

Nothing is a waste. You always learn from people and if you get a couple of fun meals out of it too well then you won!

Fairytales...They Do Exist

We ALL deserve our fairytale...be sure to create the life you want. To embrace love and people who want to love you. Forget anything that isn’t aligned with your happiness. Yeah being happy isn’t a bad thing it’s actually encouraged. 💗

What and What Doesn’t Define You

July 30th Love Yourself More

What’s Love Gotta Do With It?

Is Your Better Half Really Your Better Half?

I love Evan Marc Katz, his writing makes a lot of sense. It talks about what makes a good relationship  WHO we pick and why. In the end why it lasts. One of the lines that stuck with me in his article titled: The Most Important Thing You Can Learn from Old, Married Couples was this:

“So when you’re assessing your dating prospects and are thinking past the lust phase into “Who will be wheeling me to my chemo treatments in 40 years”, consider that everything that attracts you comes with a considerable downside.”

How true is this! It’s not about looks or being financially independent or smart. It’s about having a companion who has empathy, compassion, who you trust, can see them being by your side during the hardest moments of your life.  Who do you want holding your hand in your doctor’s appointment? Who do you want to laugh with when life has you down? Who will compromise with you? Who will you be able to communicate your feelings with even when it’s something they don’t want to hear?

Looks fade. Money comes and goes. Brains well face it anyone can be smart if they apply themselves. But who do you want to wake up to everyday and conquer the world with?

People who I pictured a future with where people I could be real with. Who I could discuss anything and everything with. Someone I trusted to emotionally be able to take care of me. Isn’t that important?

How’s Your Morning Routine?

I love working out in the morning. I even have these three join in and now we swim after. It’s honestly the perfect way to start the day. I make sure we do laps around the pool. We swim for about 45 minutes. Then we go inside get dressed. Have breakfast and begin our day.

What’s your morning routine?

Change Your Thinking!

I read somewhere that said that all your experiences had to happen so you could love yourself.

It had me thinking. Every situation teaches your something. Once you change your mind your experiences change.

Happy Monday

Everyday Is A New Beginning

Metro Kitchen & Bar In Fairfield

I have been hearing about this place. I then saw an article where it is the same owners at Boca and figured it had to be good. We popped in and realized it’s where Crave Bar used to be. They took over ownership and redid the inside.

The food was delicious. We ordered pup food. Onion rings. Fried chicken bites. Fried pickles. Their steak sandwich was real slices of steak. It was delicious. A big spot inside too.

Axe Throwing In Bridgeport

I found my new favorite sport...axe throwing!

This was a blast!! I have been wanting to check it out and finally did with some of my best friends and I must say it’s awesome.

We hit some bullseyes and by the end I totally got the hang of it and definitely felt it in my arms too.

It’s $20 plus tax a person for one hour. We really had a lot of laughs and let out some frustrations too. Check it out.
