Men vs. Women What Percentage Are You?
I love podcasts when I am driving. Solo of course. It’s much better than singing alone. So I stumbled across this one. I am a huge fan of therapist Jon Kim and his girlfriend therapist Vanessa Bennet so I was really happy to find their joint podcast. Two different perspectives. Two different styles. Really interesting.
Desire. It’s a funny thing. This podcast may seem a little out of the norm with what I post but I think it’s important to see things from a different point of view. I can name a ton of people who experienced this. A ton who had arguments around this issue. It’s deep. Relatable and rare to know that men and women can be similar yet completely different. I always could relate more to men with this but I have known a ton of women who couldn’t. According to this only 15% of women can.

When You Truly Appreciate Love
This is so true!
You had to go through heartbreak and hard times so you could grow and change and know that love is what you make it to be. Love is about loving yourself and accepting yourself so you then accept someone else. Once you do that’s when you can appreciate and honor and welcome real love.
What’s real love?
Of course at the time love is real. It’s just different. It’s hard and toxic love. It’s jealous and not good love. We all experienced that. I hope you outgrew that. I truly do.
Real love is not changing someone. It’s accepting all of them and them accepting all of you.
Imagine that. Accepting all of you and all of another person. Flaws and all. That’s real love. Calm love. Peaceful love. Happy and feel good love.
I have loved many times in my lifetime. Never regretted it. At the time they were my all my world. But never fully appreciated it until now. Until I learned to allow someone to love ALL of me while I loved ALL of them. Flaws and all.

Being Together Makes It Great
The weather may not have been great but we still had a great day together.

Rainy Weekends Call For...
I always loved Sedona. I also love when my best friend comes to visit. So lucky to be able to spend three nights together.
It’s great because we did the family night. Double date night and then our solo night together. We always have so much to talk about.
Sedona grilled chicken and chop salad is my favorite. We sat at the bar and talked for hours. Rainy weekends call for a lot of indoor activities. Mostly catching up on rest and stuff around the house. But at night we got to be together and it really was a lot of fun.
Just Be Happy
Everyone should really focus on creating a life that makes them happy. It’s not even about revenge. It’s about not letting others control your emotions.

34 Years of Friendship
It’s been a year and the half and what I love about them is when we get back together it’s like no time has passed by.
Lifelong friendships used to be the norm for me. But as I got older I realized so many people didn’t have a friend they grew up with. Someone who was there for you during your journey and any stage of life. I started to realize how rare it is. How special it is.
She has been my best friend through all my stages. And I love how our kids love eachother.
34 years of friendship. I hope my girls experience that too one day. ❤️

Bringing Back Your Norm
It’s been over a year. Way too long. I love this group. My “mommy friends” started out 7 years ago being together and even though now we are friends we like to add the mommy part because our kids brought us together.
We went to Amis Trattoria in Westport. Delicious. They ran out of sangria so we had lemonchello spritzer. We have octopus and my brown butter chicken was delicious! Would totally go back.
I love how the tunnel has lights hanging. We sat out back and it was perfect.
So wonderful to be with friends and even though it’s been a year it feels just like where we left off.
