Let’s Go!
Change used to scare me. I mean doesn’t it scare everyone? Well not me....anymore. I have actually learned to accept it and adapt. A situation occurred today and instead of it bothering me I got overly excited. Why?
Because as one chapter closes it means a new one will begin. I am jumping out of my skin with anticipation. Will it be an easy change. Who knows. But I will tell you the last ten years I will never repeat. So the more changes and closure I get before the next ten years of my life the better.
Welcome the changes in your life. Embrace your new chapters.
The Apology
Sometimes you don’t get closure. Sometimes you do.
I had someone reach out to me today. It’s been 8 months since we spoke. He asked if I would give him an opportunity to apologize to me.
I said yes.
He went on to say he wasn’t in a good place- which I figured- and how he apologized for just sort of just disappearing. He asked to see me and I said thank you but no. I appreciated his apology and respected him for it but it’s best to be left in the past.
I will not lie. It felt good he said something. I felt we live life thinking we never get closure and wonder what WE did wrong for things to end. But most of the times it has nothing to do with us.
I won’t see him again or speak with him but at least I know this chapter ended with him and it had nothing to do with me.
We don’t always get closures. But when you love yourself and know your worth you don’t allow just anyone to take your time and energy from you.
This is the third person past week I have had cross my path and have given me closure.
Learn your lessons.
Carry on...

Bring Out Your Inner Self
I bought my daughter this shirt and she didn’t like how the sleeves felt. So I tried it on and actually loved it. In my old house my favorite room were the girls because it was yellow. It was so happy and bright. I would lay in their room and smile. I wish all my walls were yellow.
The process of transformation is refinding yourself. Connecting within. It’s a beautiful journey once you overcome the pain and heal.
So let’s bring it back to a time when you didn’t have a care in the world. When you connected with your inner child and inner self. Who is she?
Find her and love her. 💛☮️ 🌞
Monday Vibes
Who cares what you have...materialistic stuff does not matter. Being grateful and at peace and loving life for the simple things. That’s where you’re truly blessed.

Today’s National Do A Grouch A Favor Day
Today’s National Day is pretty funny. Do you have a grouch in your life? If so do something nice for them. Turn their frown upside down.
Families That Read Together...One Question & Meditation
I mentioned my new book I am reading. So tonight I gave the girls 30 minutes before dinner to play and I read my book. I asked for a highlighter and my little one asked to help me. So I put her to work as I read.
This chapter it asked “If I loved myself truly and deeply would I let myself experience this?”
So what is the “this” well that’s up to you to fill in. Could be anything. Could be in a lacking relationship. Could be a job you’re not happy with. Could be a bad habit you’re trying to get rid of. It’s up to you to really think about it.
This chapter on meditation says inhale saying I love myself. Exhale saying.....
I won’t say what I exhale. It just kindof came out. It was along the lines of sorry I allowed myself to put up with bullshit I didn’t deserve.
Now your turn.
Sit against a wall. Close your eyes. Inhale saying to yourself I love myself. Exhale saying...
Fill in your blank.
Do You Want The Bag Back?
We celebrated Valentine’s Day today at my parents. We give everyone a special valentine. I hand my sisters back my kids empty bags and ask “do you want the bags back.”
They laughed how I always do that for them and they actually love and appreciate it. Well what do I need 9 Valentine’s Day bags for? Why not give them back to reuse again. I must say it’s the little gestures that add up. ❤️
After I saw this post and had to share with them.

We Are All Crossing Paths For A Reason
I like people I can learn from. Whether it’s about hunting or why people fish late at night or early morning because that’s when there isn’t a lot of wind or about places to check out. I love the food and work our tips I get. I love learning. I love and appreciate when someone takes the time to teach me something. “Did you know...”
I started to see a pattern. Once I learned something from someone my journey with them came to an end. I almost knew ok I won’t see them again thank you for the lesson or information.
It wasn’t sad. It gave me peace. See we are all here to help eachother. To teach or be taught. To get love or give love.
When we hold on that’s when problems occur.
Feb 16th Reflect...
Take nothing personal!
One thing I learned in business was to never take anything personal. To leave all emotions out. Always. Business is business. Be ethical and professional but nothing has to do with you deep down. As a person. Be professional and never communicate when angry.
Keep Growing & Changing
I wouldn’t even recognize the girl I was three years ago. But here’s a funny story.
A guy I was seeing didn’t end things so well. Just kindof stopped. Very confusing. He later reached out to me around the holidays but was short and I wondered why even bother.
So I run into him over the weekend. He immediately kisses me on the cheek and asks how I am. I say good and walk away. I am short.
I later wonder how he was so quick to say something to me yet he never reached out prior to this weekend again. So I changed and realized I had blocked him ever since his last brief text.
Now I have no intentions of speaking to him. It was nice to see how quick he said hello. But blocking him
meant not having access to my energy. Even now he doesn’t.
Don’t continue to make space for people who drop in and out. Also learn that lessons are lessons. Not to be repeated. To be learned and to carry on.
Him being blocked meant even if he wanted to he couldn’t come back in.
You aren’t who you were years ago. You’re better. Stronger. Happier. Brighter. More loving but smarter. Tougher yet graceful.
Remember that when weak opportunities cross your path.
