Communicate To Fully Comprehend
We don’t have to agree. I want to start my post by saying that. We just need to understand. Validate.
If someone is upset or off or angry there’s a reason. We may not agree. We just want to be heard.
A lot of relationships lack communication. Forget about comprehension. They don’t understand why someone is the way they are. They don’t understand why people see situations a certain way.
Overtime I changed. I tried to put myself in someone else’s shoes. I tried to understand that not all children or men or people are the same. We aren’t. We are all different and communicate differently and love differently and need things differently. We argue differently.
Homeschool taught me that my three kids learn differently. They can’t be taught the same way.
Dating has taught me that men communicate differently. Every single one. They love differently. They react differently. They argue differently. Not one is the same.
Life has taught me that we need to comprehend and understand how someone operates. How they think. Feel. Love. How they handle problems and situations.
Once you do it’s so much easier when dealing with them. We can’t generalize that all women are the same or men or kids. We aren’t. Individually we all need and act and love and learn differently.
If you love someone instead of trying to change them try to take the time to understand them. I am still learning everyday.

You Make Me Smile
💛
When was the last time you made someone smile. I was talking to him. He was telling me about a situation that took place this week and I said that sounds frustrating. I am sorry you have to deal with that. He stopped and replied “Wow thank you. It’s ok.”
His whole mood changed. Just from acknowledging and validating his emotions. It came natural for me but he reacted surprised of how easy it was for me to validate his feelings.
Let’s try to be happy and good to eachother and supportive. Let’s try to validate people. Let’s try to make everyone feel heard.
When was the last time you made someone smile or feel happy.
Focus on Your Strengths Not Weaknesses
It’s called the CoreClarity test by Gallup. A Strengths Finder assessment. Where you focus on your strengths.
A client had our team take it. Then we had a session where a coach analyzed and explained our assessments and results.
Above are mine. These are my top five talents. I must say it’s pretty on point.
The whole purpose is to know your strengths and use those to your advantage. Your full capability. See we normally focus on our weaknesses and try to fix and change them. How about we don’t do that anymore. How about we celebrate all we are good at and build a life and career around that.

Never Going To Turn Around and Hurt You
I love finding these cool fun rocks while I walk. These said:
“Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down.” ❤️
Reminded me of the 80’s song. I have been rocking out to 80’s music. Maybe because it’s happy memories of my youth. Maybe because it’s familiar. Maybe because I am an 80’s girl. Regardless it’s fun.

Take Control Over Your Emotions
Your emotional responses are your responsibility. 100% of the time. We live in a society where we blame others. Yes others cause our pain and frustrations but it’s how we handle it where our control is.
I always said someone should be able to go into your face and tell you to F off and you should have enough control over yourself to not react.
Now do we want that. No. Of course not. But how we react is our power.
Our power isn’t how people are towards us. Our power is how we react when they disrespect us or trigger us or cause unnecessary drama or pain.
We are in control. Are you in total control of your emotions?

Sit With It
Before reacting and yeah I do so well and then this last week I reacted so easily I had to refocus again but really before reacting...sit with it.
Chill out. Some days I am crawling out of my skin. I am so off. It’s awful. Then other days I am so chill and calm. This last week I could have used this chart. I didn’t know what was wrong. I mean yes we are living during a nightmare but I am grateful to have my family and friends and be healthy and safe.
Yet I still freaked out at times.
SIT WITH IT. Trust me ❤️
Are You Really Happy?
Doesn’t matter how much money you have or how big your house it. It matters who you share your life and time with. It matters how truly happy you are. That’s what matters.

Homeschooling...Success
I kept thinking I was not meant for this but then my youngest kept writing stories about me and how much she loves me and how great I am and well maybe it’s the ego boost I needed after all!

I mean kids do tell the truth. I know I know...

Are You Responding With Your Present Brain?
You are all guilty of it. I am. I know it. We react not based on an emotion from today. At that moment. It’s past situations that cause the old response.
If everyday we truly started the day as a new day we would not have as many issues as we do. We would just focus on today. This moment. We would not let old emotions arise. We would not throw past situations in people’s faces. We would not have anger or pain because it’s a new day.
New start. New day. Every situation today is new. It should not allow us to have any emotions because it’s all new. Practice it. I will too.
Do You Self Sabotage?
I am guilty of this. I admit it. I own it. I think growth happens when you look within and notice you are the one to blame for things. Where you know how you react isn’t how you should react. My journey after divorce was to fix all that was broken and weak in me. All the things I wanted to fix so I could be better. Not just better for someone else or my kids. But better for me. To know my triggers and weaknesses. Insecurities and pain.
Do you self sabotage? I think to an extend we all do. We fix something and turn around and sabotage it. New relationship. A diet. Work habits. Commitments. Why?
Not really sure. I am still learning. That’s the beauty of life. Learning. But owning you have a problem is the first step. Second step is fixing it.

Tonight’s Stone: Fluorite Intuition
I took my stones out. I do that when I am feeling off. Tonight I was geared towards Fluorite. Stability. Harmony. Following my intuition. I need to reconnect within.
*Fluorite is a highly protective and stabilizing stone, useful for grounding and harmonizing spiritual energy. When working with the upper Chakras, Fluorite increases intuitive abilities, links the human mind to universal consciousness, and develops connection to Spirit.
