It’s my Mom’s birthday. She’s definitely one of a kind. She’s always been our rock. Go to. Confidant. She’s really always pushed us to be independent, strong and give everything our all. She always wanted us to process before reacting. I love the friendship we have. It’s a great bond. I see it in my kids too. It’s so important to have people in your life who truly love you. Have your back. Are dependable and will always be there for you. Not all Moms are this way. So grateful for mine. Grateful for a role model like her in my life! Grateful to have someone who really always wants the best for me!

Learn From Your Mistakes
Growth.
Change promotes growth. Pain promotes growth.
Funny the things that make us uncomfortable actually teach us to be better.
Learn from your mistakes and challenges.
What’s Your Love Language?
Just hang out with me and have good conversation and lots of laughs. That’s the way to my heart. So simple. What’s the way to yours?
Voting Is Your Personal Choice
It doesn’t matter who you voted for. And to be honest if you couldn’t decide then it’s best you didn’t vote. It’s your choice. We all need to respect that.
I rather you be educated before making a big decision. No one should make you feel otherwise.

I Voted 2020
No one teaches you how to vote and they should show you the first time. I said that to my boyfriend this morning. He looked at me confused. I admittedly said I did it wrong once. I was so nervous that I did it wrong. How is that possible he asked? Now he’s extremely intelligent and holds a very high position in his career so you would think I would be embarrassed but I wasn’t.
I literally voted wrong before.
It’s true. I did. I once selected multiple people for one position. Not the President that’s obvious but I was so nervous I went on a circling rampage.
I know it’s so silly but who showed you how to vote? Yes I know read the directions but I was young and nervous. I always remember that day when I go vote now. My parents never brought us to the polls even though they voted and when I started to vote I was already in college not living home so I didn’t have guidance. Lesson to be sure to have your kids become aware of what to do.
Did you vote? Why did you vote? Why did you pick who you chose?
This time I actually voted for one main reason. Because I believed one was better than the other. Not because of my peers or family or friends. Because I stood behind my vote. I wasn’t influenced by anyone at all. It was my decision. Most of the time we vote based on the opinions of people around us. Yes you say it always is but most of the time we are influenced by our peers and family and companions. That’s not why you vote for someone. You vote for someone because you believe they should be president over their opponent.
I hope you go vote. It’s you way of having a say! I hope you chose the one you truly have faith in to lead our country.

Yogurt Parfaits
I try to keep my girls healthy. I think teaching them healthy food habits is important. I always run out of quick easy yummy breakfast ideas. So lately I started having them create their own yogurt parfaits. Yummy. Easy. Delicious.
What’s your favorite breakfast tip?

1010
Last two months I kept seeing this number 1010
Sometimes multiple times a day. Different than seeing reoccurring of the same number. I love looking up the meanings.
What repeated numbers have you been seeing?
Halloween Sunday Funday
We pulled off one awesome Halloween lunch today for the kids and I must admit even the adults enjoyed it.
We all did something that was Halloween themed or decorated. After lunch we all went behind a bedroom
Door and the kids went around knocking on the doors trick or treating. It was so much fun. The girls had a blast and we had about four rounds of goodies for them.
I love how even the adults dressed up. It’s not a typical Halloween but I must admit Covid makes you be more creative and appreciate the small stuff.

Halloween 2020
Different from the previous years. The girls were only allowed to visit family. Their father and I felt it was the safest way. Gratefully they didn’t find a problem with it.
It was a chilly night where a firepit was in order followed by chasing the moon and visiting all the best Halloween decorated location and houses. Lots of laughs and great food. You are the company you keep. We need to remember that. I even had a box of donuts to decorate. A fun treat.
I hope everyone practiced social distancing. I hope we all continue to do our part to keep one another safe. We have to focus on being a team. All of us. You. Me. The people around us. Sacrifice today to be able to give the kids the proper Halloween next year.

Relationship Gratitude: Food Is Love
Food is love. I was brought up that food was a social connection and emotional connection. I know not always a good thing but if I loved you I fed you and well people who love to eat are my type of people.
I loved trying new places prior to Covid now I am very cautious. I have been cooking a lot more and it’s great to bring new and old recipes into my relationship. Food is comfort and a nice home cooked meal really makes a difference in a day. I think he’s hugged me more over a home cooked meal then anything else and it feels great!
I am grateful for all my foodies in my life who share meals with and laughs and love and full bellies.
Be grateful for the foodies in your life.
Intensity Doesn’t Mean A Stronger Love
I lived through this. Intensity. I thought that was how relationships were suppose to be. Intense. The more passionate the better. The more suspenseful the better. No one I was with wanted or could give me a calm simple love.
I had a lot to learn. I kept choosing wrong partners. I didn’t know better. Then I realized that was far from what I wanted and needed. The older I got the more calm I wanted my partner to be. Never mistake intensity for love. Never ever. Some people may enjoy the drama. Not I.
I needed a solid foundation where two people can communicate and agree to disagree and be secure in ourselves as individuals that it didn’t get projected on to one another.
What’s your love life like?
